Y/N P.O.V.

We sit here for a while. I wish that we could talk to each other. He looks like he needs someone to talk to. He looks deep in thought, is he wondering about the sudden chill?

"Brother!" I hear. Huh, so he has a brother, that's cool. I turn my head to see a skeleton who looks like the one I'm sitting next to. They must be identical twins then.

Suddenly I hear him say "Brother what happened?" After this I stopped paying attention, it's rude to eavesdrop on someone else's conversation. I do hear bits and pieces despite not paying attention and it sounds like the one in purple is hiding what actually happened to him. I also found out his name is Nightmare and his brother's name is Dream. They continue to talk for a bit then they hug each other. I don't know why they are hugging but I feel a longing to join in and I don't know why. I let out a heavy breath and leaned on the tree. I was half expecting to phase through it but I didn't. Seems like I can interact with solid objects except humans and monsters. Maybe I can find a piece of paper and a pen to write on to contact someone. Though what I want to also know is how I became like this. Did I die but not fully? Like my body died but my soul/spirit didn't? Also it seems like Nightmare notices me, can Dream also notice me?

Dream P.O.V.

I can feel someone's emotions around but don't see anyone, I'm probably just imagining it. .As I'm hugging Nightmare I see that the sun is setting. "Hey Nightmare, the sun is setting, we should be getting ready to go to sleep." He pulls away from the hug and looks at me "Yea, ok. Let's sleep now." We settle down and by then the sun has set. I close my eyes and let sleep take me.

Nightmare P.O.V.

Dream falls asleep pretty much instantly. Lucky him, it always takes me a while to fall asleep. Does that mysterious being need sleep too? Is s/he going to also torment me? I sure hope not. How could I contact him/her? Thoughts like these whirled around in my head and I eventually fell asleep.

Y/N P.O.V.

Dream fell asleep first then Nightmare fell asleep. I sigh, if I don't find a way to contact someone I'll go insane. I'll go look for paper and a pencil so I can communicate with someone. I stand up and start walking to the village. There are still a few people up though they look like they are going home now. I continue walking through the village looking through shop windows for paper of some kind. I come across a shop where they sell notebooks. Great, this is perfect. I walk up to open the door but then I remember no one can see me and I don't want anyone to think this shop is haunted so I'll wait until someone goes in or out. Wait if I do that the villagers will see a floating notebook and pencil, maybe it will be best to do get them when it's dark. No one is inside the shop I can go in now. I open the door a little bit, just enough to slip through. I quickly grab a notebook. Right as I'm about to leave I see a rack of pens. I'd prefer pencils but pen will do. I grab a pen and exit the store. I start heading back to the tree happy that I have a way to communicate. I sit down by the tree and start falling asleep. Huh, I'm a ghost and still need sleep, interesting. I soon fell asleep.
