(Scarlet's POV)

Sing? I've never sang in front of a crowd this big before! I mean, I was in the local musical in my home town, but that was nothing! There are like 5000 people out there! But maybe if the boys are supporting us, we can do this! I look over at Mikayla, and she is smiling really big! "I guess your excited!" I say.

"This is my big break! Singing with them will put me on the map!" she says excitedly. Then Niall calls us onstage. I smooth my hair and my dress, dab at my lip gloss, and walk on stage. When we walk on, there is an explosion of applause! While they cheer, I look around at the stadium. It is HUGE! The applause dies down, a crew guy run's a mic out to Mikayla and I. Then Louis starts to talk.

"Everyone here, this is Mikayla and Scarlet! Now, today is a very special day for Scarlet. It's her 13th birthday! Let's all sing her happy birthday! Alright lads, let's start this off!" As everyone start's to sing, I feel like I'm flying! But not because of the singing, because Louis pulled me in for what he would call a 'proper cuddle'! I loosen my grip around his neck and look into his face. The next thing I know our noses are touching. He leans in closer... and we're almost there... then the song is over, and I'm back to reality. I smile and wave at the crowd. Then Harry speaks to us. "So girls, which one of our songs do you want to sing?" I start thinking, but Mikayla already has my answer!
~~~
(Mikayla POV)
"How about..." I pause thinking about which song would suit both Scarlet and my own voice. "Nobody Compares!" I couldn't help but sound excited. I was standing on a huge stage with One Direction, about to sing a song with them!
"You heard it band! Let's start it up!" Louis called. The guitar and bass string the first few chords before Niall started singing.
"You're so pretty
when you cry, when you cry.
Wasn't ready
to hear you say "Goodbye".
Now you're tearing me apart, tearing me apart,
You're tearing me apart."
Throughout his part he was looking straight at me. When it was over, he nodded to Scarlet so she could sing a verse
"You're so London:
you own style, you own style.
And together
we're so good. So girl why
are you tearing me apart, tearing me apart?
You're tearing me apart."
Then, Harry continued:
"Did I do something stupid?
Yeah, girl, if I blew it
just tell me what I did.
Let's work through it.
There's got to be some way
to get you to want me
like before."
Together, all seven of us sang the chorus. Scarlet looked as though her her nerves were gone and I was having the time of life, singing for the first time on a stage as grand as this.
"'Cause no one ever looked so good
In a dress and it hurts
'Cause I know you won't be mine tonight.
No one ever makes me feel
like you do when you smile.
Baby, tell me how to make it right?
Now all of my friends say
it's not really worth it.
But even if that's true,
No one in the world could stop me
from not moving on, baby, even if I wanted to.
Nobody compares to you."
Niall then nodded to me, presenting me with a turn to sing. I took a deep breath then sang my favorite line to this song.
"We're so Paris
when we kissed, when we kissed.
I remember
the taste of your lipstick.
Now you're tearing up my heart, tearing up my heart,
You're tearing up my heart."
Harry sang his part a gain before we all joined in again.
"Did I do something stupid?
Yeah, girl, if I blew it
Just tell me what I did.
Let's work through it.
There's got to be some way
to get you to want me
like before."
"'Cause no one ever looked so good
In a dress and it hurts
'Cause I know you won't be mine tonight.
No one ever makes me feel
like you do when you smile.
Baby, tell me how to make it right?
Now all of my friends say
it's not really worth it.
But even if that's true,
No one in the world could stop me
from not moving on, baby, even if I wanted to.
Nobody compares to you.
Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, oh, oh, oh-oh-oh, oh."
"Nobody compares to you."
"Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, oh, oh, oh-oh-oh, oh."
Slowly, the lights faded a bit and Niall sang his part. This time, however, he came up to me, looked into my boring brown eyes, and sang softer so it held more meaning.
"There's got to be some way to get you to want me like before."
For the last time in the song, we all sang the chorus. Niall and I not moving away from our moment.
"'Cause no one ever looked so good
In a dress and it hurts
'Cause I know you won't be mine tonight.
No one ever makes me feel
like you do when you smile.
Baby, tell me how to make it right?
Now all of my friends say
it's not really worth it.
But even if that's true,
No one in the world could stop me
from not moving on, baby, even if I wanted to."
"Nobody compares to you."
