Bitty tale x Yin [COMPLETE]

Chapter One

“Come on Yin” Yang pulled me by my sleeve through the markets that crowd the streets. The smell of classic dishes, tea, and sugar filled the air I stopped at a few carts, trying new things I hadn't tasted before.

‘Ooo what’s that?’ the smell of sweet sugar flooded my senses as I passed a small cart that had sugar covered fruits and candy on display. Skewers of melons, strawberries, and mochi displayed to catch the eye of possible customers. I pulled Yang toward me and there was a younger lady running the cart. Unlike the other cart runners, she didn't look exhausted, and a true smile on her face. I walked in front and coughed to get her attention,

“Good afternoon, how are you?” I said politely, she smiled, leaning up from the side, and going back to the pot that was above a fire. The smell of burning wood was a beautiful addition to the smell of sugar.

“What would you like?” I looked at the menu, there was various things, and it was very colorful; everything was easy, and clear to read.

“May I have candy covered strawberries, and, um maybe a recommendation” I asked, I could feel my face burn a little. She smiled, and turned to the strawberries where she then coated them in sugar and sat them in a container. She then got boba beads and put them in a container
"What flavor do you like?" She handed me the small menu and pointed towards different flavors; Strawberry, Mango, Peach, raspberry, and blueberry. I bit my lip and smiled
"Can I have the Peach flavor" she nodded and put some of the boba beads into a cup.

“Do you do ASMR?” she blushed

“Yeah, I have a whole channel where I do ASMR, and I’m so close to getting 100k subscribers” I congratulated her, and she handed me both containers, then gave me a gift card. I looked at her questionable

“This Gift Card is toward getting a Bitty. All the money from my shop is given to a random Bitty shop. Bitties are small creatures that are like companions. You should really buy one, I have one myself” She then showed off a Bitty, the fur color was a beautiful orange with mixes of yellow and black stripes, they were small enough to fit in her hand, and they had a gold and white robe with a sticker of a skewer of strawberries.

 “Hello! I’m Tigress” she shyly waved and I smiled at her, finding out their gender, and patted her head. She enjoyed it and small purrs echoed into the loud streets. I reached into my wallet and paid her the right due. I left the stand with a gift card in my hand.  

“Come on Yin if we don’t hurry then we won’t get to the best part” We strolled through the market until it became darker outside, there were lanterns all over the place, glowing a dull orange. I kept getting dragged, until I bumped into someone. I heard a small yelp as something almost fell to the ground. I quickly caught them and sighed, they were breathing heavily, and I smiled

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you, my sister is dragging me around.” The person looks at me, and accepts my apology.

“It’s fine ma'am” I handed them the bitty, carefully catering to make sure they didn't fall again. I stood there and the bitty whined, I looked at him, but he looked awful; he had bags underneath his eyes, his eyes were dull, void of any emotion. His eyes started to water and a broken smile formed on his face. He looked at me, and his eyes started to sparkle with happiness, and delight. I smile at him and he smiles at me.

“Hey, we don’t know each other, maybe we can get to know each other, can I get your number?” the owner said, he started to blush, and I gave him my number

“That,” I looked at my sister, she was nodding her head fast, “That sounds nice, sure. Is this cutie going to be there?” I smiled at the Bitty

“Yeah, He goes with me everywhere, Almost got him hurt once” He looks at him and grins.

‘I don’t like that grin’ I smiled at him before my sister pulled me again.

“Bye” I waved at him before my sister pulled me into a resting place. We have been walking for hours and my heels hurt.

“Ooo you got a date, that's amazing, now since we are taking a break can I try those things you bought” I gasped offended

“Nu uh, you rushed me, and now i’m going to enjoy my food”

I finished my food, and we traveled through the woods, before entering our viewing place

“The fireworks are starting soon” I nodded my head before grabbing the bag from my sister that had a blanket, and other foods inside. I sat it up before sitting down, just in time. The fireworks were shooting into the sky, lighting up the night sky. I grabbed some juice from the bag, and filled up two glasses. I handed one to my sister, and we cheered to a new year.
