You are one of the rarest cats on Earth, the Panthera pardus orientalis, the Amur leopard. You are hunting right now, in the primorye region of southeastern Russia, on a deer farm. You have been searching for food for days due to this cold, snowy winter. You have no predators, but you have heard that many other Amur leopards have been poached and killed by your biggest threat, humans. They are willing to sell leopard skins and furs for a fortune. That is the reason why your species are critically endangered. Your fur in the winter is very pale, which makes you different from other leopard species. Protected areas have been put in your 7,000 square kilometres of land, but sometimes, even they are not safe enough.
