We have a deadly flu,
But we're looking at the symptoms,
Found a telling clue,
But very few do seek the sanctum,
Who, do you think has caused the present wheezing?
I'm seeking out the radix, not questioning the sneezing.Taken antivirals now I ponder, in congestion,
Not why my cough persists, but how to quell infection,
Yet, it seems the same can't be, from hegemony, expected,
Rather interrogate the mucus in nose, than seek the source of infected. Some may wonder why, of the riots, I am so quiet,
I've never seen a revolution, 'thout the flames,
Never seen a monumental resolution, 'thout some burning names.Perhaps some tea should be thrown off a ship,
Or tax collectors tarred and feathered,
So this could feel familiar,
And maybe then we'd stand together.Howe'er, perchance, there'd be some loyalists,
Whose hearts would yearn to cling to Crown,
Who'd rather see bound wrists than raised fists,
And those who stand, upon the ground. And some would rather pick who they feel are low-hanging fruit,
Having those who are too ripe, discarded or killed,
No need to build trust when their prisons recruit,
What room for your freedom when the field's not tilled?
