Jennifer POV❋
I looked at the sign.
"Okay three bedroom house, two bathrooms, one huge kitchen on the bottom of the floor...in the middle of New York? Hmm..." I thought out loud.
Jackson looked up from his phone.
"Yeah, sure, mom." he shrugged, and started texting again.
"Guys, put your phones away. Including you, Mckenzie," I sighed, holding out my hand. "Phones. Now." I snapped my fingers.
Soon, I had everyone's. I put them in my black purse and called the number on the sign.
666-7890
"Hello?" The voice said. It sounded like a young lady.
In the background I could hear a baby.
"Yes, I want to view the house your selling? Three bedroom, two bathrooms, and one big kitchen?" I added the information.
"Oh yes. Um can you wait one second?" The woman said.
"Okay," she huffed, "I can show you the house on Thursday, is that okay?"
I nodded but then forgot I was on the phone, "Oh yes! That's great should I give you my number?" I asked.
"Yes, please, and I'll give you my cell."
"Mom! I'm getting cold!" My daughter, Samantha crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"Are you new to the area?" The woman asked through the phone.
"Yes, we're from Rhode Island."
"Okay, oh and I'm Christina McCarson, and you are?" She asked.
"Jennifer, Jennifer Macroon."
"Great."
She gave me her number and I gave her mine.
"Okay! See you Thursday! Thank you!" I hung up.
"So what are we doing?" Samantha asked, clearly bored.
"We'll view the house Thursday." I replied, walking back to the rental car.
"Thursday? That's in like four days!" Jackson complained.
"Shut up, Jackson." Mckenzie said to him.
"Why don't you?!" He replied.
"Good o-"
"Stop fighting! Why don't we all?" I hushed them, starting the car.
"Can we have our phones back, though?" Samantha asked.
"No."❋Liked it? We'll get ready for some more! Comment!❋
