Jackson POV
I don't even freaking know why we even moved.
I mean back in Rhode Island I had a girlfriend and a bunch of friends.
Now people will be like: yo who dat new kid.
And I explain and they'll be: whatever you don't look normal.
And then I won't get a girlfriend.
Okay I admit popularity is the key to get a girlfriend.
And I was popular, even though I didn't wear the "new thang" and crap but hey they liked me, and it was great.
I check my phone for notifications, usually back in Rhode Island my phone would be blowing up like rocket but I don't know anyone right now so...i uh like don't have anyone to text, sadly.
Sam is on her phone texting her friend from Rhode Island, Mckenzie is texting her boyfriend, even my mom is.
Yet, she's driving.
We pull up to McDonalds.
"What do you want?" She looks back at us.
"A water." I say, sliding the unlock thing on my screen.
"Okay...food?" She asks.
"Nothing."
Sam tells her her order and Mckenzie doesn't get anything.
Soon, we're leaving the drive through with the smell of grease in the car.
Then my phone dings.
I quickly look down at it.
Nathan, my friend, texted.
"Okay, dude no hard feelins but I'm dating Dannielle...k?" He texted.
I quickly text back.
"Dude! The eff!"
We soon pull up to the hotel we're staying in.
I get out as soon as possible.
"Jack!" I hear Sam yell after me.
My freaking god I hate New York already.
AND MY OLD FRIENDS.It's midnight and I have to sleep with Sam.
She kicks like crazy. OMG.
I slap her and push her away.
"Jackkk! Stop!" She yells at me.
"You!" I say back.
"Guys! Stop." Mckenzie yells, looking up from her phone across the room.
I grab my phone and decide to text Dannielle, my old girlfriend, saying I still like her.
And of course, no reply.
Okay then...this will be a long year.
