First of all, I wanna say something and you must read this otherwise you won't understand the dressing style of the royals.
Well, some of my dear readers asked me how will prince Virendra looks like and how I imagined him.
Initially, I didn't imagine the prince as anyone. But now, I am shamelessly got whipped by Porus. So...yeah...I imagine porus as Prince Virendra. And yes, the dressing sense isn't like the men from the serial Porus. It's different for both men and women.
In my story, the royal males wear a royal tunic with dhoti where the look completed with an uttariya when they are at courts or at outside. But when they are in their rooms, they can wear the clothes of their wish and those clothes can be like the males in the serial Porus ie with dhoti as lower garments and uttariya for the upper part.
Tunic: it's something like below but since the princes wear royal tunics, they are of bright colors and are designed with good quality of the embroidery.
You can imagine Prince Virendra as Porus: the hair length of Prince Virendra is the same as Porus and the style of his beard as well.
The blue cloth which he is wearing can be counted as uttariya. And for royal females, they used to wear sarees while nowadays. But...if they want, then they can wear their saree in dhoti style with a sleeveless blouse with dupatta. Jewelry is always important for the kings and queens, so they used to were heavy jewelry.
