Richie was drifting his eyes away from his crinkled up 'Incredible Hulk' comic book to look at the vase of dying daisies a girl named Melissa had given him for Valentine's day. He couldn't quite grasp the idea of loving anyone as it hadn't happened to him yet, so he declined Melissa's offer of being his valentine but still glad excepted the flowers. When he got home his mom nagged him about how he should've taken the offer so he could maybe have his first girlfriend. He shook it off as his mom just wanting to have grandkids when she got older. Richie got his head out of the clouds when he heard his mother calling him, " Richie, someone's on the phone!" "I'll get it, mom!" Richie hurried down the stairs and picked up the phone. "Hello this is Richie Tozier and doing voices is my game, what can I do for you pal?" "Richie its Eddie do you want to go by the barrens, Bill's gonna be there and maybe we can finish the dam!" The wave of excitement the came off of the small boy made Richies' heart plummet. "Oh, Eddie Spaghetti is that all? I'll be right over!" "For the last time don't-," before Eddie could finish Richie hung up and was dashing towards the door. "going out I see?" Wentworth Richies Father Chuckled. "Yeah, see ya!", and with that Richie was on his bike peddling to the barrens.
"F-fina-lly to-ok y-ou long en-ough R-r-ri-", "Richie." Eddie stated. "R-right." "Well lets' get to work Eds my fair chap." "Don't call me that!" Eddie screeched. "Ah, you love it Eds." Not long after bickering between Richie and Eddie, Bill finally got them to stop and they started on their dam. Richie seemingly couldn't not stare at Eddie. He got this warm and fuzzy feeling in his chest whenever he teased Eddie just to see his reaction. He watched almost his every move. The way Eddie would suck up the air in the inhaler, and go red whenever Eddie teased him. Richie got caught up in his thoughts when he heard someone. "Hey everyone." It was Stanley Uris. He recently got back from the boy scouts he went to every year. "H-ey S-s-stan." They smiled at each other. "Guys! While you two chatted your asses off, Richie and I finished the dam 'Bill' wanted to make!" Eddie seemed so confident in his statement his gleamed his sweet smile at Richie and turned back to the others.
Soon Friday morning rolled around and Ben Hanscom was walking through the hallway when he saw her, Beverly Marsh. She has auburn hair and honeycomb eyes. Ben was in love. She gave a small wave and smile and went on her way. Bens' heart fluttered. "Ay, haystack got a nice view huh?" It was Richie Tozier, Ben didn't hate him, but the way Richie could easily take Beverly away from him was the scary part, he couldn't lose her. Richie had bright red hair, it was obnoxious and not quite and calm and gentle as it looked on Beverly. His eyes were a dark orange-brown, some call it copper. He was about 5'6 not too tall and not too short. Ben was somewhat jealous. Ben had dirty blonde hair, a shorter stature around 5'4 and had hazel eyes. Those may be good qualities but Ben called himself fat, bigger, slob. He thought he was ugly.
"Eh Haystack, you alright? You're dozing off buddy." "I'm fine Richie." Ben gave Richie a somewhat reassuring smile and walked off.
"Hey, Richie." Richie jumped, he wasn't used to being startled. "Holy shit Eds' you scared the life 'outta me. How do you do today chap'?" "Seriously Richie!" Eddie laughed and elbowed Richie. "Oh Eds' you wound me, you wound me!" Truthfully, Richie was ecstatic. Seeing Eddie laugh like that made his stomach flip, it gave him butterflies everywhere like they were about to fly on out. The look on Richie's face just made him burst into a fit of giggles. Eddie quickly noticed this and hurried to take a puff of his inhaler. "Richie soon calmed down and made eye contact with Eddie. Eddie had a pair of forest green eyes and honey blonde hair {Oh I forgot to mention I'm going off of 'IT 1990 Miniseries' character looks.} Richie snapped out of wonderland momentarily. "Oh Eds' you dress like a little grandpa!" Richie pinched Eddie's cheeks. "Cute cute cute!" Eddie swatted away Richie's hands. "Stop it Rich!" On the inside, Eddie was burning in flames, cute? Even if Richie was just playing around, Eddie couldn't get the thought out of his head. "Can we just go to class now Richie?" Eddie was flushed. "Alright my little princess, let me lead the way!"
