*Sam's POV*

I slowly walked to the edge of the sidewalk, climbed up onto the railing of the bridge and looked down at the raging water.

This is it. I'm really going to do it. I thought to myself.

Suddenly I heard a voice from nearby, "hey, what are you doing?"

I tried to speak, but it was like nothing would come out. So I just stared at the water, thinking.

The tall brunette boy spoke again, "please get down..."

I glanced at him, then back down, and choked out, "why?"

"Well, because people care about you." he said while inching closer.

I watched as he moved closer, he thought I didn't notice. I moved off the edge a little more, trying to get away.

He paused, "I won't hurt you, I'm trying to help you...trust me."

Who was he? I've never seen him before. Why did he want to help me? I'm a mistake, I deserved to die.

I stopped thinking about who he was and looked at him, "but you don't even know me."

He looked at me as if he was confused, "I don't have to know you, it's called doing the right thing. I'm not going to leave until you get off from there, either. So please just get down, we can talk about it, I won't tell anyone if that's what you want. You have a whole life ahead of you, you can't waste it."

I shook my head, "that's what everyone says. That it'll be alright, that everythings worth living for, well, its not!" Tears started to form in my eyes. "You don't understand."

The guy was now playing with his hands, "if you get down, you can explain, and I'll try to understand."

I wanted him to just leave me alone and I knew he wasn't going to go away until I got down. I swung my legs the other way off of the bar, and jumped back onto the sidewalk. "There. Now just let me be."

"Not until you talk to me." he said, slightly smirking.

I glared at him. "You said you weren't leaving until I got down, and I'm down now so you can leave."

He laughed a bit. "Yeah, but I didn't say I was leaving after you got down either."

I groaned. Why is he being like this and doing this to someone he doesn't even know. "Who are you and what are you doing out here this late?"

"Well now you ask. I'm Kian, and I decided to take a walk. What's your name?"

He looked at me with a half smile. What is with him? "Uhh I'm Sam." Kian smiled at me fully and put his hand out, I just stared at it.

Kian chuckled and said, "well, most people would shake the persons hand, but maybe you're from a different universe." He put his hand down and into his coat pocket.

I blushed from embarrassment. "Yeah, sorry about that, I'm from this universe, don't worry. Just a little shocked."

He patted my back which made me tense up a bit, "nah, it's ok, don't worry about it."

-

The strange kid named Kian had been there at the right time and the right place to help me. I was about to end it, and he showed up. What was this supposed to mean?

We ended up talking, well, he talked, while I just nodded or shook my head. He walked me all the way home, to make sure I was going to be ok. I made him promise not to tell my parents, or anyone. He agreed, and asked if I'd keep in touch with him. I told him I'd think about it.

Kian gave me his number, and said to text or call him sometime, if I wanted to.

I went up to my room, and watched out my window. He started walking back the direction we came from.

What a strange night...

Ok, so this is the first chapter of my new Lawlorff (Sian) fanfic, if you couldn't tell. I think it was pretty long. I'm gonna try to stick with this one and write out the whole thing. I have a laptop now, so I think I will, plus this one already sounds better.

Umm. You should vote and leave a comment telling me what you think about it so far or maybe what I could do with the next chapter. And yeah have a good day!
