               Holiday  Magic : A Buffy/Willow Fan fiction

The college classes were winding down for the winter. Everyone was packing up and getting ready to go home for the holidays. All the students were in their rooms packing up to go home. except Buffy, because she was on patrol. Willow thought that she would help Buffy by packing up her stuff for her.  

For the whole vacation Willow was going to stay at the Summers' residence. Willow was not particularly close with her mother and would rather spend her time with Buffy anyways. 

Willow had been having these strong feelings for Buffy for sometime now. Willow didn't know when it all started. But when she started college with Buffy she saw the slayer in a new light. She felt so angry at Parker and Riley for breaking her heart. Willow's heart broke every time.  Willow had a plan to win Buffy's heart.

Buffy was on Patrol, per usual. But unlike most of the time she was a bit distracted. Buffy was unsure of what was going on lately but she had been having "weird" feelings towards Willow. It felt just like how she felt for Angel or Riley.  While walking through the cemetary Buffy had some thoughts run through her head. 

"Why do I have this feeling for Willow?" Buffy asked herself

"I can't... I can't be in love with her could I?"

"Oh ... my god... I ... am!" 

Buffy kept racking her brain trying to figure out her answer while a vampire ambushed her.

"oof." Said Buffy as she fell to the ground

The vampire got on top of her, Buffy quickly gained the upper hand and dusted the vampire. it was unusual to see not that many vampires out and about during the holidays, But Buffy relished this. So since there was no more of them, Buffy made her way back to the dorm to help Willow.

Willow greeted Buffy at the dorm room with a big hug. When both girls hugged Buffy felt an electric spark course through her. "Whoa... I never felt that before."Buffy thought.

"You ready to go?!" Willow asked Cheerfully

"Yup!! " Chalk-full of readiness" replied Buffy

Both girls were getting their things together in Buffy's house. Willow said her hello to Joyce and headed upstairs with Buffy. Willow grabbed Buffy's hand as they ran up the stairs.  Willow was happy to be alone with Buffy to tell her who she feels. and Buffy was starting to understand what was happening with her and Willow and was unsure. 

After the girls were unpacked Willow noticed it was snowing. So She asked Buffy if she would go for a walk with her in the snow.  Buffy responded with a "yes". So the girls got on their jackets and went outside.

"Buffy... Can I tell you something?" Asked Willow a bit nervously.

"Of course Will... You can tell me anything!" Replied Buffy

" I think... I'm in love with you." Said Willow

"I... I think I am in love with you too. I have these feelings, really strong ones that I never had for anyone after Angel. I am not sure where this will go but, I am willing to try. " Said Buffy with tears in her eyes. 

Willow looked at Buffy with a smile on her face and wrapped the slayer in a big hug. "So does this mean you will be my Girlfriend?" Willow asked

"yes." said Buffy

For the next couple weeks the new couple took things really slow. They would hold hands, and cuddle when they were alone.  Buffy wasn't sure how Joyce will feel so she figured she would keep this to herself. 

While Willow was at the Summers house, she introduced Buffy to Hanukkah. She explained the menorah and its significance. Buffy was very intrigued by Willow's customs. And Willow was happy she had someone to share it with this year. 

On Christmas Day, the girls saw the gang and exchanged gifts and such. Then when the time came to go home, the girls left hand in hand. Buffy was always protective of Willow. She would always be on alert to make sure that she was safe. When they got home they decided to have a nice quiet Christmas evening.

 Willow and Buffy cuddled up on the couch together.  Willow had candles all around and lit them with her magic. And Willow leaned in slowly to kiss Buffy.

Buffy stood up and turned on the radio and found a song to put on.  She decided to go with "Can't take my eyes's off you you" by Lady Antebellum. Buffy nervously cleared her throat and put her hand out.  "May I have this dance, Miss Rosenberg?"

"Yes, you may Miss.Summers." replied Willow

"I love you Willow." whispered Buffy 

"I love you more." replied Willow softly.
