Losing A Best Friend

Sunny is very close with her family, especially her grandfather. Her grandfather has suffered a lot in his life but never showed how he truly felt around his loved ones, like Sunny. Sunny tries to talk to him as much as he can, despite her busy schedules

During their day off in the dorm, Sunny got a call from her mom.
Sunny: Mama? What happened? Are you okay? Grandpa?
The boys ket looking at her with concern in their eyes as they saw Sunny's expression go blank. She hung up the phone, and smiled at the boys with pain in her eyes not wanting them to worry about her.

Sunny: My grandfather is getting emergency heart surgery today... I am going to try to go over to the hospital right now.
She ran upstairs before any of them could see a tear drop from her face. As she was getting ready, she held in her tears and didn't even make a sound.

Sunny: Alright, I'm going to go. I'll call you later to update you. Bye

The boys were still in disbelief of what had just happened. They didn't know what to say or what to think.
-At the Hospital-

Sunny: Mama!
Sunny's Mom: He just got out, and the doctors said they have to monitor him very closely this next few hours.

Sunny waited and waited until she could see and hear news about her grandfather. Finally, after about 2 hours the doctor came out.

Doctor: So the surgery went as planned, but as we monitored him, we noticed that something had gone wrong. We will do everything we can to help him, but just be prepared for the worst.

Sunny could not believe the words she was hearing. Her grandfather, her best friend, was pretty much dying. Her mom had told her to go back to the dorm and come back the next morning, so she did.
-At the dorm-
Sunny walked in, with no expression, and fell to the floor, sobbing. The boys ran over when they saw her, and Seonghwa pulled her into his embrace while she was crying into his chest.
The boys hearts were breaking. They had never seen Sunny like this. They brought her over to the couch, not saying anything and just comforting her while she cried, because they knew that's what she needed. Sunny was curled up in Yunho's arms on the couch, bawling out her tears that were long overdue. Sunny was devastated, and after an hour she had cried herself to sleep in Yunho's arms.

Yunho: I wish there was someway we can help her.

San: The only thing we can do is be there for her. She likes to hide her feelings, so once she shows it, we just have to be there for her. 

Hongjoong: For now, we just need to stay with her. Let's all sleep here tonight. She does not look like she is moving anytime soon.

Jongho, Wooyoung, and Mingi brought blankets and pillows from upstairs to spend the night in the living room.

-The Next Morning-

Jongho: Should we let her sleep?

Seonghwa: Just for a little longer. Her mom called me and wants us to come with her to the hospital. She doesn't think her grandfather has much time left. She wanted us to come because she knows Sunny will need us.

A little while later Yeosang woke up Sunny to get ready to leave for the hospital.

Yeosang: Sunny ah

Sunny: hm?

Yeosang: We are going to the hospital today to visit your grandfather
