I was rushing around my room, getting ready for the first day of school. She decided to dress not to preppy. I picked out a black, Green Day tee shirt, along with a leather jacket and black leggings. I pulled on my green and black socks, along with combat boots, swinging my bag over my shoulder. Pine Creek got more beautiful after everyday. I stopped into my Mom's bakery, picking up a water. "Morning, Mom." I said quickly, rummaging through my bag to find a dollar, my phone, and headphones. She took my dollar and rubbed my head. "Clara, try not to get bullied, okay?" She said, cracking a chuckle and moving the cake pops. "Mom..." I groaned, forcing my headphones into my ears. I waved goodbye, and fixed my hair.
