Okay, so, this isn't by first story. I deleted my old ones because no one was reading them, so here is another try. Hope you like it:)

Running from Fame: Chapter One

I darted from the limousine to my front door quickly, scrambling for my keys.

"There she is!" I heard someone in the crowd yell, I heard cameras click and flash all around. Hurriedly, I found my keys and slipped inside, shutting the door before anyone could barge in.

I leaned my back against the door and took a deep breath.

'OH MY GOD' was the single thought running through my head. Is this what it's like to be famous? Cause trust me, it isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm more scared than flattered at the attention.

Okay, so here's the story: My mother was the one who pushed me to audition for the movie. Literally. She had shoved me into the room and securely closed the door behind me. The only other way out was to jump through the window and I didn't really feel like dying. So I was stuck.

You would've thought that the hint would get through, but no such luck. I honestly don't know how, but I landed the leading role in a popular novel-turned-movie, Willow's Edge(A/N made up name). It's about a girl, named Willow, who is afraid to love and la-de-da-de-da. You get the picture. And now, the movie just premiered last night, and the paparazzi are EVERYWHERE.

So, here I am, basically under house arrest for like ETERNITY. Plus, most of all my old friends are now begging for my autograph or something. Agh, I hate my life.

Anyway, I walked to the living room and I quickly heard tapping on my window, for my mother forgot to close the curtains. I rushed out of sight and slowly closed the curtains without too many pictures of me taken.

I lazily fell onto the couch and propped my feet up on the coffee table. I turned on the TV with the remote and turned to the entertainment channel.

"Willow's Edge has been called the Number 1 movie of the year, Best Cast of the year, and has been nominated for 3 other awards already. But, how is Julia Tori, who played Willow, dealing with the new stardom? And the new rising band, the DayBreakers, just might end up toping the charts. Keep watching for more." The News reporter announced, with an 'acting smile.' Most people can't notice them, but most actors and actresses can. It's like a realistic fake smile. Then, the screen switched to commercials.

I groaned. 'Did they have to do an entire segment on how I'm screwing up under pressure?' Life isn't fair at all.

Well, that's my name, if you haven't figured out already. Julia Tori. On set, we each gave each other nicknames. Mine was Jewels, or JT. Aaron Certifi, voted hottest actor of the year, was Air. Danielle Ferek(Fair-ik), best actress for last year, was Dani-L, or just Dani. Sarah White, Child Star growing up, was Ah-ITe(Ahh-Ight, like alright). And so on and so forth.

Before I knew it, the commercial was over, and a picture of me hiding my face from the camera's popped up in the corner, while the same Reporter was smiling widely.

"Julia Tori," She began. I bit my lip, waiting for the hard blow. "The flawless new actress on our horizon. The perfect Willow Hale. But, can she deal under pressure? We have Danielle Ferek here with us today, going to talk to us about who the real Julia Tori is." The camera swirved to the side, to reveal Dani-L sitting there, perfectly still, with her million dollar smile pasted on her face. "So, Danielle, who is Julia Tori?" She asked her bluntly. She was unfazed.

"Julia is a very warm-hearted girl. She is always considerate and helpful. She always puts other before herself." Dani-L stated. I was wide-eyed. "I honestly agree with you. She is the perfect Willow Hale. I mean, along her brown hair and hazel eyes, she matches the description perfectly."
