"wait what? what do you mean leaving?" Carson questions, "what he's trying to say is, the day after graduation my dad & I need to go back to Canada, my dad said something about us leaving something behind but I'm not sure what it is and he won't tell me so don't ask. anyways, I told Johnny and it turns out his mom also needs him home because of some other surprise and some family reunion and neither of us will be back until the beginning of August" I take a deep breath in not realizing I didn't inhale once while explaining.

everyone looks at me speechless, I turn towards Johnny as he stands there with his jaw slightly dropped. We all sit there in silence as I wait for everyone to process what I had just said. "wait so you're both going back home for pretty much the entire summer?" Anna asks, Johnny & I slowly nod in response.

"Okay wait, don't you guys think it's a little creepy that both your parents want you to go back home for a 'surprise' at the same exact time, plus Johnny doesn't know his real dad and Annie doesn't know her real mom, AND you both are extremely similar people who became best friends because you guys thought you knew each other from somewhere- even though y'all have never met before? not only that but when I first saw you two together, you both have extremely similar features" Hayden asks.

everyone then looks at him even more shocked, "honestly, I agree with Hayden, when I first met Annie I thought you two were the same person, just different- parts?" Carson explains causing us all to slightly laugh at the last part.

"so you guys think Annie & Johnny are somehow related?" Lauren asks, "well its a possibility," Armani says. "uh Woah, hold up. no, are you guys crazy? why on Earth would Johnny & I be related anyways" everyone shrugs in response.

"okay well Ann's- they kind of have a point" I look at Johnny with wide eyes, "okay okay, so maybe there's a slight possibility we could be related but the chances of that are extremely low"

"wait wait, this is completely off topic but- me, Carson, Anna, and our parents were planning on going back home this summer but neither of us wanted to go because of our tradition so we said no but they're still planning on going" Lilia explains.

"I mean, I wouldn't mind going back home this summer, you know? something different, especially since this is like our last summer before we start going into our 'adulthood' I guess you could say" Nadia says, "It would be fun to be back home, I haven't been back since we moved here" Armani explains, Jayden nods in agreement.

"wait wait, when did your mom say this was happening?" Darius asks Johnny, "uh right after graduation, why?" Johnny asks. Darius looks at the other guys and Lauren with a 'help' face. By now I'm sure Johnny was curious as to what his friends were hiding, "what are you guys hiding?"

"nothing" Asher quickly says, Johnny quickly glares at Hayden knowing he's the easiest to break since he has the biggest mouth. "is he lying, Hayden?" all his friends turn to Hayden with wide eyes, shaking their heads 'no'

"um uh- n-no?" he says looking anywhere else but Johnny, "are you sur-" He then cuts Johnny off, "your mom may or may not be planning to fly us all out because she said she has a surprise for you and she wants us all to be there!" Hayden says in one large breath, all the guys and Lauren then begin to yell at Hayden. "I'm sorry! you know I can't keep things from people!"

they all roll their eyes at Hayden, "so you guys knew about this?" Lauren hesitantly nods at Johnny. "for how long?" "2 weeks" Carson mumbles, "are you guys gonna go?" I ask, "well we said no at first but we still have time to make our final decision" Johnny nods at Asher in repose
