chapter 2

ava's pov

it was finally saturday.
so i didn't have any worries about waking up early.
i wake up and its around 9:20am.
which is pretty late for me considering i wake up at like 7:25am usually.
i pick up my phone from my nightstand and facetime aubrey.

"hi" i say as she answered the call.
"i was sleeping bitch." she replies.
i laugh as she sits up from her bed looking like she rolled out of a hedge.
"i've been snapping mattia the past few days, he's actually not that much of an asshole as i thought." i say.
"you like him?" she asks
"no bitch, anyways... he asked me to hang out sometime. so you're coming with me alejandro and mattia to the beach today since it's hot." i say.
"okay that's a plan." she answers.
"okay well i'll pick you up at 12:30pm."
"bet." then she ends the phone call.

i go look through my closet for things to wear.
i decide to put an orange bikini then put blue denim shorts on top and a cute oversized shirt.

i brush my hair and decide not to wear makeup since there's no point.
i pack my bag, placing my speaker and towels into it.

i have to pick up aubrey now so i go out to my car.

i drive along the road playing my playlist.

i finally get to aubrey's house.
she gets in the back seat.
"why the fuck are you going in the back?" i say.
"mattia's sitting there." she smirks.
shit.
i roll my eyes and drive.
i pull up to mattia's house since he already texted me his adress.

i watch as mattia and alejandro walk out his front door and down the steps, heading out to the car.
mattia get in the front seat and alejandro gets in the back.
i play don toliver.
"good song choice" he laughs.
i smile at him and head to the beach.

we get to the beach then hop out the car.
mattia finds a nice spot for us all to sit so we put our stuff down and look out to the sea.
the boys immediately run towards the water shouting for us.
"come on!" they shout.

aubrey and i just stare then laugh at them.
we take our clothes off leaving us in our bikinis, heading down to the water.

i touch the water with my feet and it's fucking freezing.
"holy shit it's freezing! no way i'm going in." i shout.
aubrey is already 10 steps ahead of me and is splashing alejandro.
mattia swims towards me then walks out of the water.
he smirks then looks me up and down and i gulp.
"no don't you dare!" i scream as mattia picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.
he walks in the ocean then throwing me in.
i paddle up out of the water, catching my breath.
mattia stands in front of me laughing.
i splash him with the salty water and his jaw drops.
"bitch!" he shouts.
he splashes me back.
we continue almost drowning each other.
he grabs me by the thighs then lift me up, my face meeting his.
we stare into each others eyes, my breathing getting unsteady from the touch of his large hands.

"get a room!" alejandro shouts, making mattia look over my shoulder to see him.
he places me down carefully then swims over to alejandro.
almost drowning him too.
i stare at aubrey and my face goes bright red.
she giggles at my reaction.

we all spend a couple hours at the beach.
then we all start to get hungry.
"who's up for a mcdonald's?" i say.
they all shout -
"me!"
so i drive in the direction to get food.
we go through the drive through and everyone places their order.
once we order our food i drive along to a nice spot and then park.
we all get out our orders and start eating.
alejandro's eyes roll back as he takes a bite, we all laugh.
"we should do this more often." mattia says loud enough for everyone to hear.
but looking at me.
i nod my head as i take a drink of my soda.

i soon start driving again to head home.

"wanna come to my house?" aubrey says to all of us.
mattia and i look at each other.
"yeah sure"
i pull up in aubrey's drive way.
she slides the keys in her door.
"no one's home by the way." she smirks at me and mattia.
i squint my eyes.
"ooooo" alejandro speaks up.
mattia flips him off and ale's jaw drops.
being a drama queen.
we all follow aubrey to her room.
"can i borrow some clothes, mine are wet." i say to her.
"obviously." she laughs.
"wonder why." alejandro says, indicating that it was mattia's fault.
mattia lunches him in the arm then ale squeals like a baby.
we all laugh, aubrey passes me shorts and a top.
she knows what she's doing.
so then aubrey went and changed and wore this

we both came out of the hallway after bickering.
mattia and ale's hess turning towards us.
ale's mouth dropped while looking at aubrey.
mattia clenching his jaw while looking at me.
yes, i died there on the spot.
we both went and sat down beside them, i grabbed the covers because i was cold.
ale gave aubrey his hoodie, they definitely like eachother.
but as for mattia and i, there's something there.
i just don't know what.

aubrey and alejandro went down stairs to go "get something"
mattia looked at me, widening his eyes.
i laughed.
it was now just mattia and i alone.
his head was rested against the headboard of the bed and i was at the end, facing him.
i sat on my phone, scrolling through insta.

"ava?" mattia spoke up.
"yeah?" i said.
"wanna go spy on ale and aubrey?" he smirked.
"fuck yeah!" i shouted.
he put his finger over my mouth, shooshing me to be quiet.
i blush at the touch of him.
"sorry" i whisper.
he quietly giggles, we both tip toe down stairs.
we peek over the wall to see aubrey on the kitchen counter wrapping her arms around ale, alejandro had his hands on her thighs.
they were making out.

mattia and i laughed, not loud enough for them to hear.
we went back upstairs and sat on the bed.
"wanna watch a movie?" he asked.
"sure" i reply.

he turns on a movie, he holds his arms out...
wanting me to cuddle with him.
i crawl over to him and we cuddle.
my heart pounds out my chest as he plays with me hair.
why am i doing this?
i don't know.
he lifts my chin with his pointer finger, bringing my face to meet his.
i sit, straddling him.
we stare at each other, he looks down to my lips.
then i look down to his.
he cups my cheeks with his hands, i wrap mine around the back of his neck.
he leans in to kiss.
i didn't kiss back at first.
but then i did.
it turned into a make out, he slowly traced his hands down my back. grazing his fingertips along my skin, giving me goosebumps.
i grind my hips against his for a second, feeling him below me.
he groans, putting his hands on my ass, squeezing it slightly...
making me moan.
he smirks at the reaction i gave him.
we continue to make out.
i slide my hand under his shirt, feeling his toned stomach.
suddenly, ale and aubrey barge in.
we pull away quick and i get off of mattia.

mattia and i go bright red as aubrey and ale laugh at us.
"shut the fuck up, you two were worse down there." i say getting frustrated.
they both look at eachother and go silent.
then we all burst out laughing.

it ends up getting late and i drive the boys home.

i get out of the car walking up to mattia.
he wraps his arms around my waist, and i wrap mine around his neck.
i give him a quick kiss, then wave goodbye.

i drive back to my house, with a smile on my face.

today was a good day.
