"So you're really kicking me out?" She asked

"Yes, mommy I love you but I don't want to die"

"So you want me to die?"

"What did you expect? You married a drug dealer, a murderer, what did you expect? You should've left the minute the police knocked on your door" I said

"I vowed to be with him for better or for worse" she said

"Then go be with him but do not involve me, Meek or the kids" I said

"Those are my children I'm not leaving them behind"

"Yes you are! I don't want them to be on the streets with you, what if they get hurt?" I asked

"They won't, I am capable of taking care of my kids" she said

"I never said you weren't capable, all I know is that you're not walking out that door with them" I said

"Those are my kids you're not taking them away from me" she said

"You're not leaving with them and that's final" I said

"I'm not your friend or your daughter I am your mother Onika" she said

"I know Carol but I meant what I said you are not talking those kids with you only God knows what's going to happen to you" I said

My mom was gone and I don't even care where she went she bought this on herself

JoJo was polishing Meek's wheelchair wheels

"They are going to shine" he said

Meek was laughing Nina on the other hand was playing with my hair more like making me bald I'm glad my siblings are with me and they are safe

"Nicki you want me to shine your shoes?" He asked

"No thank you" I said

"Meek you want me to do your hair?" Nina asked

"I don't have hair Nina" he said

"Sisi why does Meek not have hair?" She asked

"Because he is a boy" I said

"Boys have hair too"

"Well he decided to cut his hair" I said

"He doesn't like combing does he?" She asked

"Yes" I said

She giggled

"I knew it, bad boy" she said laughing

I looked at Meek and he was talking to JoJo while laughing JoJo better not be flirting with my Meek

When Nina was done with my hair I looked like a homeless person who tried to do dreads Nina was so happy

"You look beautiful Nika" she said smiling

"Thank you Nina" I said

"How much are you gonna pay me?" She asked with her little hand out

"A dollar" I said

"I'm gonna buy a new doll, thank you sisi" she said then kissed me
