Once we were inside the strong smell of alcohol hit me like a ton of bricks. I don't drink much or go to parties so I'm a bit new to this. I mean sure I had taken a swig of bear when I was 5 and when I was 11 had a glass of champagne at my auntie's wedding but nothing like taking shots. I took a deep breath and exhaled through my nose before glancing over at Chris only to discover she had found will and deserted me. Bitch. I take a look around and decide to head to the kitchen. There are a few couples making out against the walls (gag) but apart from that its empty. Walking towards the fridge I hear footsteps enter the room." What your not enjoying the party?" I whip around at the words to see four smirking leaning against the counter." Nah not my scene" I shrug. He raises his eyebrows questioningly." What is your scene then?"he asked curiously.Well somebody had a change in mood."The football field" I answer subtly.He looks lost in thought for a moment before I snap him out of his reverie with a question of my own."What you thinking about?" I know it's propably not my place to ask but....

I don't really care.

" Oh don't worry." He smiles shrugging.Wow an actual smile, didn't think he had it in him.

"No tell me" I pried on.

"It's nothing you just remind me of someone that's all" He answers not going into detail.

"Oh okay" I mutter. Our small conversation we had worked up without it being an arguement was quickly interrupted by chris rushing into the room.

"We're playing truth or dare come on guys!!!" She shouts before leaving as quickly as she enters.I sigh in relief and lean against the counter to take another sip of my drink but its too late she is already talking again."Tris get your ass out here you are playing too" I hear her voice from out the door.Oh no what has she gotten me into.
