Chapter 5.

~flashback~
I ran I didn't know where I was going but I just ran. When I got tired and started walking. Then I saw a starbucks so I went in there. When I walked in I got a vanilla bean. then I left. I knew where I was is was just a far way back to my house. I was crossing the street when I dropped my phone so I went to go pick it up when I looked over and a car was coming at me..........
~End of flashback~
I looked up and my whole life crashed before my eyes. Then I saw all black.......
Matthew's POV
Me and Faith were inches apart, so close to kissing, so close to kissing the love of my life. But then Hope and Amber walked in. Hope told me to leave after that. I walked out the door and heard screaming. I got in my car and waited to see what was happening and if Faith was okay. Next thing I know Faith is running out the door as fast as she could. So I got out of my car and ran after her. At one point she stopped running, but I was so far behind I couldn't catch up. Next thing I know Faith is in the street getting her phone because she dropped it. Then a car comes at her fast. I ran and pushed her out of the way. She was safe and I knew that, but what about me.......
Faith's POV
I woke up in the hospital Because my head was bleeding. All I remember was about to be hit by a car and then black. I called for the nurse. I asked her what happened
''While you were going to get your phone, a car was coming down the street. extremely fast. Some boy found you and pushed you out of the way before you got hit." The nurse said
"Is he okay?" I said
"Well his arm is broken from the way he fell, but luckily he got out of the way before he got hit." the nurse said
"Can I see him?" I said
"Sure" the nurse said
I got up and let the nurse show me the way. When I walked into the room I saw Matt. I was really surprises. I thought he left when Hope yelled at him. But clearly I guess not. Matt Said "hey" knocking my out of my train of thoughts. I said "hi" and walked over to him.
"Look I know I stayed your life, but don't look at me any differently." matt said
"Okay but thanks" I said
"Your welcome" matt said
"So when do you get to leave?" I said
"I think in a couple of hours" matt said
"You need a ride?" I asked
"Yeah" Matt said
~few hours pass~
"Alright you ready?" I asked
"Yup." Matt said
Then we just filled out some papers and we were ready to go. We went to my car since Matt was still kinda off from all the drugs they gave him. I had to drive. On the way home it was completely quite. Not a single word. Like no one knew what to say or what to do. Finally we got to Matt's house and he said "thanks for the ride"
"No problem" I said
Then once he got out I drove away. When I got home it was about 10:00 pm. It started to rain. As time went by thunder came. I never liked thunderstorms I just can never sleep during them. Already on edge I hear noise from outside my window. Like someone's yelling my name. I get up and look out my window to see..........Matt. He motions for me to come down. So I do. When I get down there matt starts to talk.
"Faith I know it's late but I couldn't wait to tell you. Faith I like you, a lot and I couldn't get you off my mind. Thats why I needs to ask you an important question. Faith, will you be my girl friend?" matt said
"Uhhhhh...........
