Ch 10

Rin pov

Amaimon nudges me awake. I purr and I yawn as I stretch. I find my stuff and I head to the shower. I strip and I get in the shower.

Amaimon pov

I wait outside for Rin to finish his shower. Mephisto walks in. "I must warn you Amaimon the interviews are less than enthusiastic to see Rin," Mephisto wants. 

"I can handle disrespectful humans," I reply. 

"Ok... I was giving you a heads up," Mephisto says. 

The shower cuts off and Mephisto leaves the room.

Rin pov

I apply my makeup and I get dressed. Once I am ready I walk out of the bathroom. Amaimon walks over and turns into a hamster and he sits on my shoulder. I walk out and Mephisto leads me to the door. 

I don't get to eat anything because during these check-ups they draw a few vials of my blood and if I eat something it can mess up the blood. We get outside and Mpehsito opens the door to the limo for me. I get inside and Mephisto closes the door behind me and the limo drives off. I sit in the seat dreading the check-up. 

They don't like me at all. They hate me and I never feel welcome. Time after time they have never been welcoming and I have come home close crying each time. Charlie was always there to comfort me. This is not the time to think about him. Or how he treated me. Or how I always let him back in. Or how he manipulated me for years.... or how no one reached out...

Or how no one cared. How no one stayed long enough to see I needed help. How everyone went on their days with little to no care about me.

The ride isn't as long as I thought and before I know it we arrive at the facility. God how I hate those doors. I get out of the limo, close the door behind me, and walk into the building. Amaimon nuzzles into my neck hidden by the collar of my shirt as a small reminder that he is here. I think he can sense how stressed I am. I pet his head and I sit in the waiting room. A doctor walks out. He glares at me.

"Okamura," he states coldly. 

"That's me," I say with a smile getting up. 

The doctor just rolls his eyes and I keep of a charge of calmness and happiness. He takes me into the back and I sit on to examination table." You know what to do we will be back in a bit," He says leaving the room. I undress to my underwear then I wrap myself in the sheet found on the chair. I hide Amaimon in my clothes and he keeps coming out again to see me. But I growl at him softly and he says. The doctor walks in.

He is a nice one. 

"Hey Rin," he says with a smile and I return it. 

"So since this is the third year we are re-applying the doses," The doctor says nervously. They fill the syringes with holy water... it is supposed to make me more docile but it doesn't do sh1t other than sting and make my muscles sore. 

"Ok," I reply acting like I don't care. The doctor continues on with the check-up, checking if I am healthy making sure my skin looks normal, and my bones are all where they should be.

Another doctor comes in with the needles. 

"Now we have gone over protocols with you before but it has been three years do we need to review?" The other doctor asks sarcastically. 

"No thanks," I reply laying down on the table with my back exposed. They strap me down. Then they stick the first needle in my lower back. I hold back my discomfort and I focus on breathing. Two more go on each side of my lower back. Then they move up to the middle. They hit a nerve and I bite back a growl. If I growl they shock me and that hurts worse...

Then they move to my upper back. The first needle gets stuck in and it goes under my shoulder blade. I groan instead of growling. I don't want to get shocked. But I indeed do. Thankfully I was able to keep quiet for this long so the pulses are that strong. The shock stops and they move on. They put the other under my other shoulder blade and I stop breathing so as to not make any noises. The give me the last shot and they leave the room. Leaving me tied up. If I growl or try to remove the binding it shocks me... I look over at my pile of clothes and I see Amaimon still in hamster form. I smile weekly at him. I can tell he isn't happy.

I lay my head down and I try to go to sleep. But I stay awake. I if fall asleep they shock me... After a few minutes, the doctor come back in and removed the binds. Then they leave for me to get changed. I slowly get off the table and I get dressed once again. Once dressed I can see Amaimon in hampster from looking at me... he almost looks upset. I pick him up and I pet his head. The doctor comes back in and he walks me out of the facility.

Once back in the limo Amaimon starts squeaking. The limo pulls away from the facility. Amaimon turns back into his normal form and he hugs me softly.

"Rin are you ok?" He asks. 

"What? Of course," I reply. Amaimon nuzzles into my chest. 

"How? How are they allowed to do that to you?" Amaimon asks. 

"I... because they think it helps keep me docile and tame," I reply. Amaimon stares at me in shock and disbelief.

We stay like that for the rest of the ride. when the Limo arrives at the mansion Amaimon gets out and goes inside. I get out and I go inside. But I just go to my room to rest my back.

3rd pov

"How can you let them do that to him like that?" Amaimon growls. 

"I don't enjoy it either but there is only so much I can do. But I assure you when the time comes you will be able to kill them all in whatever way you please. Just be patient and focus on protecting Rin. He trusts you and he realizes on for emotional support. Keep him safe and I promise it will pay off," Mephisto replies.

"I don't need to pay off. I need to know that justice will be served to those who hurt him," Amaimon growls. 

"Justice will be severed to those who hurt him I promise," Mephisto replies. Amaimon growl and he goes to see Rin. 

"How are you feeling?" Amaimon asks. 

"Good but I am going to need to rest my back for a few days," Rin replies.
