the rest of ethan and spencer's classes went by fairly quickly. them laughing at each other during every class getting cut some slack from the teachers since it was only the first day. they had become best friends. best best friends.

"c'mon cutie lets get to lunch i want you to meet my brother. hurry upppppppppp"

"i'm coming. i'm coming", she then laughed at his goofiness just as she's been all. day. long. a smile never leaving her face.

they arrived to the ginormous cafeteria and spencer's eyes widened.

"woah this place is huge" spencer said in awe.

ethan chuckled at spencer's facial expression.

"c'mon spence", and he held her hand and intertwined their fingers then pulled her into the lunchroom to a specific table towards the back of the lunchroom.

they get to the table and spencer sees a boy and a girl, the boy looks... exactly like ethan? and the girl, spencer thought, was beautiful. the boy at the table had brown hair, lighter than ethans and it was flopped across his forehead. he also had hazel eyes but his had more green in them compared to ethans. the girl at the table, had beautiful green eyes and wore glasses. her hair was long and a dirty blonde type color.

"gray, bree.... this is spencer." he said proudly with a smile.

they all smiled at each other while spencer and bree sent small waves to each other.

"spencer this is my twin brother grayson and this is his girlfriend breanne."

"you can call me gray"

"and you can call me bree"

"its nice to meet you both, you can call me spence if you'd like."

spencer and ethan then sat at the table with their hands still interlocked.

"are you guys dating?" gray asked with an arched eyebrow, pointing to their interlocked hands, a smile growing on his face.

"oh no we aren't", spencer and ethan said in unison.

they then laughed at each other.

"well i think you guys would be cute together if i'm being honest", bree said with a chuckle.

"bree calm down she's new here" ethan said with a small, but nervous, laugh.

"okay, okay sorry. hey can i see your schedule?" bree asked spencer.

"oh yea of course hold on a second", spencer unlocked her hand with ethans and dug through her backpack but couldn't find her schedule.

"hey can i see your schedule?" she asked ethan.

"sure", he reached into his back pocket, pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it to spencer.

spencer then unfolded the paper and handed it to bree.

"umm this is ethans schedule" she said with a laugh.

"oh yea haha sorry we have the exact same classes", spencer said with a smile.

"ooooh okayyyy", bree said wiggling, her eyebrows earning a small giggle from spencer.

as bree was comparing ethan and spencer's schedule to hers and graysons, the twins were having their own conversations while spencer was on her phone. she accidentally opened the messages app and remembered she had to call jack.

"umm can you come with me?" spencer asked ethan.

"oh yea sure" ethan responded.

they both got up and went into the hallway while spencer called jack. ethan was holding spencer's hand because he could tell she was nervous. with her free hand, spencer held up the phone to her ear.

the phone rang three times then she heard shouting.

"SO YOU FINALLY DECIDE TO CALL HUH? UGLY BITCH", jack yells into the phone.

ethans eyes went so wide, the person spencer was talking to was screaming so loud ethan could hear what the other person was saying without the phone even being on speaker.

"i'm sorry i meant to call earlier and got lost i just found the cafeteria a few min-"

"I DONT GIVE A FUCK SPENCER, YOU NEED TO CALL AT 12:00. GOT IT"

"yes", she whispered

"WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"yes sir", she choked.

after he heard spencer say "yes sir", jack hung up the phone. at this point ethan was furious. with is hand gripping spencer's tightly and his jaw clenched. spencer was on the verge of tears.

"who was that spencer?", ethan asked her.

"oh", she had forgotten ethan was there with her, she didn't even realize how tightly he was holding her hand because she was holding his just as tightly.

"that was just my mom", she lied.

"spencer don't you dare lie to me, i could hear who you were talking to and i know it was a guy."
