Before the life changer

Kate's POV:

I stood there at the door of my best friends house waiting for her to answer.

She yelled from the living,"COME IN!"

I opened the door and went down the hall and straight up stairs. I'm like a second child at this house.

Sierra was there in shorts and a tank top blow drying her hair. I waved at her and she nodded and continued.

I jumped on the bed and got on my phone. I was scrolling through kik to find Alexis's name.

(K-Kate's A-Alexis)

K- are you almost here??

A-pulling in the driveway

Sierra looked at me and said,"I wish Alexis wasn't coming."

I laughed a bit "your the one who invited her." I said while going down stairs.

I heard the door bell ring and Cal (their dog) started to bark.

I opened it and there was no one else but Alexis. She squealed a little and I hugged her.

Okay before I continue my very true story my name is Kate I am 14 and I live in Georgia, I go to veterans memorial middle school and that's about it.

No one really liked Alexis and honestly she kind of invited herself. Next person to show up was Megan

Megan was nice and a little weird. But she was friends with Sierra and since it was her birthday party she was invited.

We all went out back past the pool and towards the fire. It was in the middle of November and we were not about to have a pool party.

It was around 7 o'clock so it was dark. We all sat on the logs and the three of us chit chatted for a little till two other people showed up.

Their name were Madison and Olivia. I wasn't really close to them but I talk to them occasionally so we talked a bit about everything. Then it was someone's smart idea to walk outside and skip the campfire and by this time it was 9 o'clock

That's when it all began....
