* Freddie's POV *

A blinding ray of sun shone directly in my face awaking me from what felt like the 5 minutes of sleep I'd gotten.  I groaned quietly to not wake up my sleeping fiancé and put a hand over my eyes.  I could run on few hours of sleep but just once I would love to have a full 8 hours.  I looked over at my beautiful Mary sleeping peacefully something had been going on recently between us almost as if we were drifting apart.

I sat up rubbing my temples and yawned smiling at my kitties who where already up and ready for breakfast.  I leaned down to kiss Mary's head before I got up and stretched.  Fuck I'll be 30 next year...

The cats began to meow and a snapped whisper yelling "Sush she's sleeping!"  They seemed to understand me and shut up following me to the kitchen.  I said my good mornings as I poured their food and gave them a few pets.  Once I checked the clock I almost screamed for once in my life I wouldn't be late.  I need my time to look fabulous dears.

I had all my bags packed because Brian Roger John and I were staying at this lovely little rental house for 3 weeks to write and rehearse for our upcoming album.  Apparently we were getting a new assistant because our old one had enough of us I suppose.  He was no fun anyway just an old grouchy bastard.  I made myself some tea and got a cup for Mary as well before just getting a mini orange to eat.  I had no appetite when I was excited like this.

I did my usual morning routine doing my hair makeup and such before getting on my outfit I'd picked out the night before.  Today's was some white linen trousers that flared a bit at the bottom a white vest with little blue stars and my favorite red velvet jacket.  By the time I was done Mary was already in the kitchen having tea and a bagel.  "Good morning darling how'd you sleep?" I had a pep to my voice overall being awfully thrilled.

"Morning Fred...I slept fine." I could tell she was still sleepy damn she loved her sleep.  I checked the clock once more seeing I had 15 more minutes before I was to be picked up.  I used this time to go over everything with Mary for the millionth time about how she could call me every night or even visit while she just nodded along with a small smile.  If this were the previous year she'd be crying and hugging me...

After what felt like 60 years I heard a car horn outside and gave everyone kisses goodbye.  Yes by everyone I mean Mary and the cats but they were my children my small furry children.  I gathered all my bags and went out to the van we used to get around cramming my stuff in with everyone else's and then getting in the back. I was greeted by most of them except John who was already asleep.

We were all in pretty good moods music was our life dears it's what made our world go round.  I began to miss Mary already despite our disputes recently I still love her dearly.  She was at that time the love of my life and my best friend.  I wondered sometimes if my cats missed me as well when I left- I mean they must right?  They're highly intelligent creatures who happen to adore me almost as much as I adore them.

One thing I hated were long drives I got bored easily and had to find something to fidget with or I'd simply die.  "Brian can we stop somewhere I'm hungry!" Roger whined from beside me like the 5 year old he was.  "Didn't you eat breakfast?! But fine here." He was always fed up with Rogers bullshit even though they were best friends.

Brian threw back a small bag of crisps and I had no clue how old they were.  The bag ended up hitting my leg so in retaliation I kicked the back of his seat.  Oh fuck I'm a child too...

"Fred! I am driving! Do you want us to get fucking killed?!" He was our mum sometimes to be honest.  I rolled my eyes "Dear we're on an empty road the worst you could do is drive into a field." I leaned forward so I was resting against his seat and he pushed me away.  I kind of envied Deacy after a while for being able to sleep since even a conversation wasn't enough to make me not incredibly bored.

I eventually had my legs over the spare seat since the damn van was far too cramped and it was beginning to be a bit painful.  When Brian finally announced we were 5 minutes away it was the most glorious sound I'd ever heard.  John still hadn't woken up from his little slumber he had a pregnant wife at home so I could imagine this was a nice break.  I never ever want kids they're annoying and too hard to care for.

Once we got there everyone got out to stretch our legs and I woke Deacy up and he was shocked he'd slept the entire way.  Before we got our stuff out another car pulled up.  "Who's that?" Brian whispered like they could hear us or something.  "Our assistant I guess." John answered in the same low volume.

Then after what felt like an eternity a person finally got out and walked over.  It was a girl who seemed to be at least a foot shorter than me and much younger.  Her hair was ginger and fell about halfway down her neck in beautiful curls.  She had straight across bangs that were similar to my own.  She had doe eyes that were a bright green and slightly wide with fear and/or nervousness.  Her nose was small and dainty but her lips were full and seemed to not have any lipstick or anything.  Finally her face was covered with a million freckles adding to her very innocent appearance.

This girl was a bit thin but nothing that worried me for her height she seemed awfully heathy.  She wore a high waisted navy blue skirt and a white short sleeved button up with white knee high socks and black shoes.  The outfit reminded me of a school girl which I assumed she probably was and the skirt showed off her legs which were thin and even though she was short looked long and gorgeous.

"Darling where's your mum?"
