He continued to stare into space, forgetting the supposedly important lesson the teacher was teaching. "This will be on the test next week. " He heard the teacher say. His mind wandered around the classroom, they all look half dead, he thought.

English class was boring like usual, he was actually interested in the numerous stories; he read in class but could care less about the "analysis" they're supposed to make at the end. He exhaled loudly looking up to the teacher, who was talking about the literary devices present in the story. "Why are we even learning about this? " He asked himself.

He glanced at the clock, "20 more minutes and I'll be out of this place. " Time, we do not have enough time, it goes by incredibly fast, increasing its speed day by day. He wished he had more time, he would be able to accomplish his most likely, childish dreams, well, at least to him. Dreams are the epitome of the perfect life, the human race dreaded to have so much. There is no such thing, a perfect life. Ups and downs, that's what life is about. Savouring each happy moment is the key to this joyful, yet stressful journey.

- That's it for today, make sure to go over the notes and don't forget the quizlet. Like I always say trying to understand the lesson is more efficient than studying. You guys may start packing. He heard the teacher, Mrs Evan says. She was a nice teacher, cared more about her students well being than their grades.

The bell rang loudly making it clear it was time to leave. He stood up and headed toward the exit. "Finally! He thought I can now go home and sleep."

Making his way to the bus stop, he could see the bus stopping to get passengers a few meters away. "Why do we even have two bus stops so close to each other? " The bus arrived, he got in and politely greeted the driver. The ride lasted about 10 mins, he got off the bus and did the 4 min walk to his house.

His mother wasn't home yet, he quickly sent her an "I'm home" text before he went up to his room. "I'll eat, then do my homework later," He told himself, he happily swung to his bed dropping his bag on the floor. "I just need so music," he said looking for his "peaceful" playlist. After putting his earphones on, he laid back on the soft bed and slowly drifted into a deep slumber.
