I'm not gay.

           I am not sure why I feel this way... before I knew it the camp "leaders" (who are keep in mind only a year older than me.) is what they call them, something was never right about them, but I choose to ignore it because this is a pretty normal camp. anyways, before I knew it the "leaders" were yelling at me to get into my swimsuit because we are going to the creek to swim, there has been tons of bear and alligator citing there, so I wasn't super hyped about this. I put on my orange swim suit with yellow sunflowers on it, I pull my big fluffy hair back into a braid as best as I can, grab a towl and run to catch up with my friends, "Hey girl, where you been?" said one of my friends, "Probably crushing on that boy eric!" another said, "NO GROSS EW!" I was quick to yell back. And no I did not yell ew so they wouldn't know, I yelled ew because that boy is gross, I can't seem to find anyone I love, I have no idea what it feels like! I skiped all of my proms, formals and anything including dances. I don't know what the hell I am if nobody is here to try and support me.

      Suddenly I see that short girl running up to me with a Polaroid camera that looked just like mine, "You droped this" she said light headed and goofy eyed. She had looked like she had bin running for hours, "Oh god, I ran all the way from the other side of camp to give you this be thankful" the short girl said sassily, "Okay, thank you." I responded sarcastically, " I am Clarie" the short girl said, " I am Bexley." I said with a stupid tone in my voice that made me seem almost as stupid as my younger sister. "Where are you guys going?" said Clarie "lake." I responded with a high pitched tint in my voice, my face getting hotter and redder than ever.

         Clarie was quick to invite herself upon not being in our group, I stayed silent and did not question a second of it, she had a stylish satchel hanging off her, "Where did you get that?" I asked pointing to the satchel. "Oh," said Clarie upset, I thought I did something terrible, she looked at me and smiled slightly, "My father gave it to me before he died." and that clearly explained why it was so over sized. "I'm so sorry." I said stupidly, feeling worse than ever "It's fine, it was two whole years ago, I hardly ever think about it anymore!" She said forcing a smile. She then proceeded to magical take a slutty looking bathing suit of of her brown leather satchel, it was two triangles that looks to small to hold her chest and a high wasted bottom, Once we were at the pool she wen't into the bathing and changed, at this point I felt like I had too much color corrector on my face, I wiped the sweat off my face as it was a hot day, we walked up to the crick and sat on the side with our feet sitting in the water, that was surprisingly clear for lake water.

       Clarie acted as we had known each other for years upon years, and I found it strange, she told me all about her home life and that she lived in New York, I felt like a loser living in boring Roxborough, she told me about all the plays she has been to, and it seems so interesting to the point were I wish I lived there with her, " I reall- was what I was saying until she cut me off and put her skinny small fingers over my large plump lips, "shhh she said while giggling, she moved in closer and put out her lips, I was so confused and as she moved in closer all the sudden AHHH, I screamed as she pushed me into the lake, I grab her foot under with me as we splash around laughing like children, sometimes I miss being a child, But it is part  of life, we dry off and head back to our cabins and promise to meet tomorrow at her cabins Park. While I thought, "I'm not gay...."
