The young woman had been sitting on a gray metal chair for four hours, right in the middle of this black-walled interrogation room. Alone in the dark room, she took her head in her hands before brushing her hair back.

The sound of the door opening caught her attention, so that she turned her head to her right to see the inspector returning with two hot drinks in her hands.

"Here, I brought you what you asked for. she said to the teenager, handing her her drink before sitting down and observing her for a few seconds. Listen Aronne, I know it's complicated for you, but you're going to have to help me. Who knows, it might not be too late to find out the truth."

"I doubt. replied the youngest, her arms resting on the table and staring into space. You knows, people here may do harm, but they never pay. Believe me, I speak from experience."

"Don't say that. If we're here, you and me, it is precisely to find out what happened to him. the inspector sought her interlocutor's gaze, and the latter raised her eyes to her. I want to find out who could have gotten this far."

"And so ? Do you really think I know? the teenager was calm and confused, the words coming out of her mouth without her even being able to think about them. Everything is still blurry for me."

"I know, I just want you to tell me about the times you've spent together since you met. Faced with the questioning gaze of the young woman, the inspector explained. Maybe going back to the past will help you figure out who did this to him. It's important Aronne, and only you can do it."

The teenager drank her hot drink while listening to the inspector's explanations, staring into space, because since she had learned the news, it had become her new habit. She hadn't cried once, and despite her grief, she didn't intend to. While she was therefore left in her deep reflections, the inspector resumed.

"So Aronne, would you like to help me ? It will be as if you were telling me stories."

"You don't need to find childish metaphors to convince me ma'am. said Aronne, raising her dark gaze to the policewoman. I have no choice, and I want to find the culprit just as much as you do. getting up, the young woman took her drink and her bag, then before heading for the door, she resumed. Yes, I want to find out who killed my Jimin."
