The only historical structure can be seen from space. Yes, I am talking about the Great wall of China. A Chinese-American astronaut Leroy Chiao took a photograph of the great wall from the International Space Station.

There is no personal right of any king or a dynasty on the making of 21,196 km of the great wall. The first emperor of unified China "Qin Shi Huang" ordered the making of a great wall around 220 B.C. to protect China against attacks from the north. After the Qin Dynasty, Bei Qi Kingdom, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Mongol be part of making this wall. Later the Ming Dynasty play an important role in making the great wall. The Great Wall of China as it exists today was constructed mainly during the mighty Ming Dynasty around 1368-1644.
