So obviously this is my own sequel to the amazing story written by Ms Disenchanted majority of the, story, characters, important plot areas belong to her. And it goes without saying this story will not make sense unless you read her original story "there's nothing to be afraid of". Enough of me talking, I hope you enjoy my story, let's get this show on the road.
It was about 1 in the morning when I came to the realization I wasn't alone in my room.
The person didn't make a noise or anything but I could sense them.
Somehow.
I guess one of the perks of being blind is you become very aware of your surroundings.
I didn't bother crying out I was home alone anyways.
Everyone else was out ...hunting?
I don't fully trust that excuse because everyone always avoided the topic when I brought it up.
(Normally because I rant about the brutality of eating animals me being vegetarian and all) but I digress.
The perpetrator snapped me out of my thoughts by taking a step closer.
I could hear the swish his foot made across the carpet that sounded like thunder in the quiet house.
Something in my gut told me to run but my brain told me it was pointless for the weak blind girl to even try.
My hand danced across my night table, fumbling I managed to find the light switch.
I heard a hiss from the person telling me I had succeeded in blinding them for at least the moment.
I dived in the direction of my door but was slowed when I found it shut.
But it was too late my precious seconds were wasted.
The man (I realized it was a guy after hearing him cuss under his breath at me) grabbed my wrist expertly turning me and pinning me against the door.
Still I didn't scream cause if I'm gonna die there was no damn way I would die screaming like a wimp.
Then I felt a blade being pressed to my face.
"Your awfully quiet."
The man whispered.
"Are you tired?"
He said before grabbing my hair and yanking it away from my face and forcing me to turn my head exposing my throat.
Even now I wasn't struggling. Why?
What was making me feel strangely calm.
He interrupted my thoughts again by lightly dragging the knife across my neck.
"Now."
He said.
"Maybe you should.. Go. To. SLEE- Tuesday?"
There was an awkward pause. "Um I'm 63% sure today is not Tuesday."
I whispered shakily.
"What the hell why are you here you said you were going on some mission with the spaz."
"Look I don't know what your talking about please don't kill me um."
I felt his warm breath on my cheek as he leaned toward me.
"You're not Tuesday so who are you and why do you like like her."
"I just told you I'm not Tuesday my name is Blair."
I heard my clock ticking away the seconds 5..10..20..40 almost a full minute.
Then there was the clatter of the knife hitting the floor.
And the loud thud of the intruder fainting.
