Kadija bit her lip as she waited nervously for the four o'clock plane to land. Her leg tapped impatiently as she yet again flipped open the letter that had been delivered to her a few weeks ago. Her hands smoothed out the crumpled paper, her eyes running over the words that she had memorized already.

Dee,

I'll be landing at the airport on the first Monday next month, four o'clock. You can finally meet Eleanor and the boys! They'd love to meet you. Can't wait to see you!

Love you lots :) Louis xxx

Her heart ached as she felt the tears threaten to spill. It had been years since she last saw her best friend, and the idea that she was finally going to see him was almost too much to bear. The seconds passed torturously slow, and each minute felt like an hour.

When the announcement for the arrival of the plane arrived, Kadija let out a long sigh of relief. She stood up abruptly, her earphones catching on the cheap plastic seat, and she fumbled to untangle it, cursing herself for being so clumsy, even after all these years. Eleanor wasn't clumsy.

No, she commanded herself, don't think about that. It was bad enough that Louis wasn't afraid of showing PDA. Comparing her to Eleanor wasn't going to solve anything. If Louis loved Eleanor, then she, his best friend, should be happy for him.

"Still as clumsy as always," A familiar voice joked, bringing Kadija out of her little reverie.

She looked up, and her eyes met with a set of glittering green eyes that didn't match the voice. Though she knew that she should be looking for her best friend, thoughts of Louis flew out of her head as she stared at him. Her eyes trailed to the rest of his face, before managing to put a name to the face.

Harry Styles.

"Kadija? Dee?" For the second time in ten minutes, the familiar voice broke her out of her trance. She looked up, turning her head at the voice before a huge grin took over her face.

"Louis!" She cried out, wrapping her arms around him in a bear hug, "Louis - oh my God, Louis! I mean, I can't believe - Louis!"

"That's my name," He chuckled, hugging her tightly before pulling them slightly apart, looking at her. "You've changed. A lot."

She blushed slightly. "No, not really. Not as much as you. I mean - does the phrase international boy band mean anything to you?" I joked. "Everything's been perfect for you, huh?" She couldn't keep the envy out of her voice.

"Not everything," He whispered softly, looking at her, before shaking his head slightly, a small smile appearing on his face. "Dee - meet the rest of the band, and of course, my girlfriend, Eleanor."

Kadija couldn't help but gulp slightly as they all advanced on her. She was living every Directioners' dream, and she knew it. She ran a hand through her hair, not caring how her hair looked. Even if they were international pop stars, they were only staying here for their Sydney tour then moving on. The most they would stay would be two weeks, and then all of them, apart from Louis, would forget about her.

"Hi, I'm Kadija," She said to Eleanor, her voice slightly shaking from meeting her.

Eleanor was beautiful; that was for sure. With her wavy brown hair and her large brown eyes, it wasn't hard to see why Louis liked her so much. Even her name sounded exotic - Eleanor Calder. It sounded... Italian or something. Emphasis on the something - Kadija wasn't the smartest at determining where someone was from.

But beautiful as she was - there was something about her that irked Kadija. Maybe it was the smile that seemed just a bit too sweet, or maybe it was the clothes that Kadija knew had been bought from Louis' black Amex. Whatever it was, she had a nasty feeling about Eleanor.

"I'm Eleanor - but you probably know that already." She let out a tinkling laugh, and Kadija awkwardly joined in, not sure how to respond. Luckily, she was saved by Louis.

"Dee - you know the rest of them right? That's Niall - Liam - Zayn -- and --"

"Harry Styles," The green-eyed boy said smoothly. "It's great to finally meet you."

Kadija let out a breath. "You too," She returned the smile, still unsure of what to say. The airport wasn't crowded, but the few people who were there were starting to stare, obviously recognizing the famous boy band. "I hate to be a buzz kill, but the paparazzi are going to be here any second," She started, hoping to get some time with Louis - preferably with Eleanor not around. "So you guys should go..."

"Actually." Louis looked straight at her, a hopeful look on his eye. "We were hoping..."

"Why do I get the feeling you're up to something?" Kadija asked warily.

Louis smiled sheepishly. "We were hoping we could stay at your place for a while."
