"Tony Stark. Visionary. Genius. American patriot. Even from an early age, the son of legendary weapons developer Howard Stark quickly stole the spotlight with his brilliant, unique mind and the assistance of his twin, Samantha. At age four, they built their first circuit board. At age six, their first engine. And at 17, they graduated summa cum laude from MIT. Then, the passing of a titan. Howard Stark's lifelong friend and ally, Obadiah Stane, steps in to help fill the gap left by the legendary founder, until, at age 21, the prodigal twins return and are anointed the new CEO's of Stark Industries. With the keys to the kingdom, they usher in a new era for their father's legacy, creating smarter weapons, advanced robotics, satellite targeting. Today, Tony Stark has changed the face of the weapons industry by ensuring freedom and protecting America and her interests around the globe." The voice-over faded out, as Samantha looked toward the doors, slightly hoping her twin brother would get here soon. As Rhodey began to speak, addressing the people filling the room, Samantha sighed knowing that she would be the one collecting her brother's award.

"As liaison to Stark Industries, I've had the unique privilege of serving with a real patriot. He is my friend and he is my great mentor. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present this year's Apogee Award to Mr. Tony Stark. Tony?" the colonel spoke into the microphone, a trophy in his hand. He looked towards Samantha as she slightly shook her head before standing and walking towards the stage, her green lace accented dress flowing behind her. "Thank you, Colonel." she said smiling towards the man as he whispered a small, "thanks for the save" before she turned towards the audience. Two small strands of black hair fell in front of her brown eyes as she looked at the audience, annoyance at her twin burning inside her body, "This is beautiful, thank you very much. Now I know I'm not my brother but I can say that he would tell you all how honoured he is and that he is full of joy to receive such a prestigious award. Tony, is busy working right now as he always is, so from both of us, Thank you."

The casino was full as an enraged Samantha Georgiana Stark walked through the crowds, dress gathered in one free hand as she held the trophy in the other, ready to smack her brother in the head with it. Finally finding her twin with a random woman who Samantha knew just wanted him for the money, she rolled her green eyes before smiling sarcastically at the woman and standing right in between them as she faced her brother. "You, Anthony Edward Stark, are unbelievable" she seethed as the man in question froze slightly hearing his full name, he knew she only called him Anthony when she was really pissed. "Sammy! Where have you been? I've been winning without you" he pouted, before gasping and rubbing the side of his head as the hand of his sister collided with it, "you are a moron, I had to go and get the trophy for you yet again! God, if dad could see you now" she shook her head chuckling slightly before she was stopped, a finger in her face as Tony looked down at her with fury and hidden pain in his eye "no, you don't get to do that". Samantha just rolled her eyes yet again before picking up the dice and shaking them in her hand before throwing them "whatever Tony, whatever..."

Waves crashed against the rocks below as Samantha leant against the window of the Stark Malibu penthouse, waiting for Jarvis to wake Tony's unwelcome guest. Lifting her cup to her lips she smirked softly, humming as she heard the voice of Jarvis project through the entire building. "Good morning, It's 7:00 am. The weather in Malibu is 72 degrees with scattered clouds. The surf conditions are fair with waist-to-shoulder high lines. High tide will be at 10:52 am..." he continued as Samantha thought about taking her board out for a bit today, that was until she heard the footsteps and calls of Christine Everhart. "Tony? Hey, Tony?" she called looking around as Samantha turned to look at her, a grin etched onto her face, "he isn't here love, I'm Samantha Stark and..." as she introduced herself the pantless woman of whom Samantha was talking to walked towards a control panel and reached out to touch it, "-I wouldn't do that if I were you" she warned before a beep was heard and Jarvis spoke once more, Pepper Potts sneaking into the room as the AI did so, "you are not authorized to access this area"

"that's Jarvis, he runs the house" Pepper spoke, holding a dry cleaners bag up as Samantha slowly came to stand beside her, espresso cup in her hand. "I've got your clothes here. They've been dry-cleaned and pressed, and there's a car waiting for you outside that will take you anywhere you'd like to go." She explains as the pair of best friends watch the woman walk towards them. "You must be the famous Pepper Potts, and you are the sister" Samantha gave a short nod moving back slightly as they turned, "indeed I am" Pepper nodded, raising an eyebrow at the blonde in front of her. "after all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry-cleaning" Christine spoke holding the bag over her shoulder. "I do anything and everything that Mr and Miss Stark require..." Pepper replies, giving Samantha a short nod at the mention of the girl, "including, occasionally, taking out the trash, will that be all?" she smiles as a laugh is held in by the Stark girl. Once the prissy reporter was gone, the two friends shared a high five before Samantha went to retrieve her surfboard and pepper continued on with her job as the Stark's assistant.
