"Come on Kana just this once!" She say's with an adoring smile
"Iris you know I can't afford to party these bills won't get payed themselves and I need to study later on." I said as I wiped the counter down.

Since high school Iris has always tried to convince me to go out and party with her or have some type of fun but I would always turned it down instead I would spend My day's working at Jean's café, I needed the money to pay my bills and be able to have food on the table.
"Please you're always working I just want my best friend to take a break, And go out once in a while, your in college for goodness sake you need to have a little fun." Iris say's

"Okay Okay! Will you stop bothering me if I go? Because I need to get back to work." I said as I looked at her with a smirk.
"Yes!" She say's excitedly.
"Fine! then I'll come."
"Alright I'll come get you when your shift is over!" She say's as she blows a kiss and walks out the café.
Ugh this girl would be the death of me. I thought.
Iris and I have been best friend's since middle school it was an instant connection between us and since the day we met we've been inseparable, She's been with me through everything even the night my parents died, her and her family were there for me.
I snap back to reality as I realized a costumer was talking to me
"Hello, you work here?" He say's
"Yea sorry about that, what can I get you?"
"Can I get a small Mocha Latte." He say's while giving a little grin
As I wrote down his order I can't help but take a look at how good looking he was, he had jet black hair with the most beautiful vanilla glowing skin I have ever seen, and he had such a nice scent to him man he was perfect.
I never seen him around the café he must be new around here. I thought while I passed him his drink.
"Thank you sir come again!" I said with a smile
As He got his drink and paid for it, he'd slipped something near the counter I checked to see what it was and it was a hundred dollar bill, I stood there in shock I have never gotten this big of a tip before, I couldn't accept this I checked quickly to see if he was still in the café but of course it was too late he had already left.
I was overjoyed I have never gotten a tip like this before I thought to myself, but I didn't let this distract me from my job it was almost closing time and Iris will be here soon.
                                      30 minutes passed....
Ughh! Where is she? Iris was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago. I thought as I stood outside waiting.
"Heyyy over here!!" She say's as she pulls up beeping the car horn.
"Hey! what took you so long I was just about to walk home." I said as I entered the car.
"Yea sry I went to get you an outfit, you really thought I was gonna let you go in that." She say's in disgust.
"Uh what's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I asked giving a little chuckle.
"Sweetie your wearing your work clothes and you smell like coffee you need to change now!" She said while giggling
"Fine but where am I gonna change?" I asked with a confused look.
"At my place duh I gotta get ready too!" She said with a little chuckle.

Hey guys so I know this is shorter then an average chapter but that's how I am and that's how I write my story's and if you happened to click and read my story I thank you so much and I know my story isn't all that but I promise you the more you read the chapters the more the story will progress as you read.
