(At Iris's House)

"So what do you think?" Iris said as she does a little twirl in her dress.
"It's cute." I say in a blunt tone.
"OMG! Kana can you just act a little excited?" She said groaning.
"This party isn't going to be so bad it's more like a little get together it's gonna be us and a few friends at a little beach near by." Iris said.
"Friends? I don't know them only you do, how do you expect me to get along with a "few" strangers?" I say in an exhausted tone.
"Ughh! Quit being dramatic and get dressed, I got you a cute outfit and we need to leave soon." She said.
"Alright" I said as I walked to the bathroom to get changed.
While I was getting undressed I take a look In the bag Iris gave me and I see a beautiful little black dress, I didn't think it was gonna look good on me but I wore it anyway to not start a fuss about it with Iris. As I got dressed I thought about the people that would be at the party and I'm kinda nervous Iris is a weird soul so I don't know how I would feel around the people she knows. "Never mind that Iris is waiting for me to come downstairs." I said trying to keep calm, I don't like getting nervous it makes me feel like a weak kind of person and I feel like I need to keep a tough face on so no one see's through me.
As I walk down the stairs Iris let's a loud "WOO! Damn girl you looking good."
I blush as she said that giving a little chuckle "let's go silly." I said as we left the house and entered iris's car.
As we drove I took this as a opportunity to ask Iris who would be at the party, do I know them, etc.
"So Iris?" I said nervously
"Yea?" She said keeping her eyes on the road.
"Um...who would be at the party or little get together?" I said.
"Oh um like you said before they are most likely strangers to you, so there would be 3 boys and 3 other girls, the 3 boys are named Braylin, Xavier, and Ezra they're pretty chill. And the three other girls besides us would be Naomi, Kiko, and jess they are pretty cool, And also they all go to our school."
"Alright then." I said as I became calmer
I knew Braylin and Xavier already, Braylin is In my English literature class and Xavier was in my Theater Arts class they are cool and pretty funny but I don't know the others but it wouldn't be a surprise because I rarely talk to anyone except Iris, unless we're working on a group project which is how I knew Braylin and Xavier I would never have the time for friends because I needed to focus on my studies and my job so I would usually keep to myself.
