Audrey's P.O.V.-
It's been about a week since Mal and Ben's engagement party and the opening of the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon. I know I went a bit crazy with the whole, 'I'm going to destroy everyone because I couldn't get the guy' thing.
But I'm fine now. I don't need a guy to make me feel better about myself. I mean common I was a princess! I have everything I could ever need, and no guy will ever make me go crazy again.
Today was the day of the Queen's Royal Picnic. I know you might be wondering what is that? Well the Queen's Royal Picnic, is kind of a way, to welcome the Queen into her new role. And it also served as a test to see if the new Queen could deal with the pressure, of planing events.
Of course, Mal had needed some help from her friends, especially Evie, Jay, and Carlos. But for some reason she also wanted me to help as well. So here I was at the picnic, and hour earlier, then the guests, to help Mal, and the 'VKs' set up the picnic.
It was meant to be a formal event so I decided, to put on my favorite, pale pink one should dress, which had a white glitter belt around the waist, and fell to my knees. I had on my white glitter high heeled gladiator sandals. My light blonde hair with pink and blue streaks was tied up into two loose braids on either side of my head, meeting in the back of my head to make a low bun.
"Audrey, could you please put out the daffodil centerpieces, and place one at each table?" Mal asked as she walked around with her clipboard.
Mal looked nervous in her simple a line purple dress, and green Lita boots, with her dark purple, hair tied up in a high ponytail, with the crown of the Queen of Auradon on her head. Evie was wearing a red body con dress, with a blue faux fur jacket, and blue heels, to match, her hair was just sitting on her should as always.
Carlos was wearing black skinny jeans a white polo shirt, red dress shoes, and his curly black and white hair styled the same as always. Jay had his long brown hair tied into a bun at the back of his head as he wore a white collared shirt, with a brown leather tux jacket, black army boots, and mustard yellow skinny jeans
"Of course!" I said putting down the last water bottle, in front of a seat.
I ran over to the large pile of boxes, full of decorations, searching for the one that had 'Centerpieces' written, on it. Well, you might be wondering why I'm working so hard to please Mal. I guess I just finally realized that I had been a horrible person to her and I didn't want to have any enemies.
And for some reason Mal forgave me. I finally found the box, with the centerpiece, so I picked it up and heaved it to the first table placing the box on it as I pulled out the vase, with three daffodils, in it. Then I put some gold petals at the base of the vase. On top of the dark blue table cloth, these, tables were looking extremely Auradon like.
After I finished seating the rest of the centerpieces, onto the rest of the tables, I put away, the box, and sat down. We had finished setting up everything so now we wait. Finally, after less than thirty minutes, people began to arrive.
Royals, commoners, friends, strangers, Isle people, and all came to the picnic. After I welcomed all of the Royals I decided to take a break and relax, I was seriously tired of setting up and welcoming people. But of course, I couldn't do anything on my phone during a royal even since that would be considered rude.
So I sat there in my assigned seat. Oh yeah did I mention I got seated with my family? Yeah, my grandpas King Huebert, and King Stephen, my grandmas Queen Stella, and Queen Leah. Oh and my parents Prince Philip and Princess Aurora. My family hadn't sat down though as they were busy shaking hands and smiling at everyone they passed.
"Your majesty." A voice said making me look up from the ground.
"Harry!" I said grinning, as Harry offered me a hand.
"Princess," Harry said with a smirk, as I took the hand that he offered me.
Harry helped me, up. before twirling me around like on the day we met. I still remember it clearly. Yeah I know it was only a week ago but it felt so long ago that I had been dancing with Harry Hook son Captain Hook, at Mal and Ben's engagement party. He had asked for my number and since I was in a good mood I gave my number over to the pirate. And every single day since then we'd been texting and calling each other none stop.
"Would you like to have lunch with me and my friends?" He asked with his charming smile, and hook on his free hand.
"I'd love too," I said smiling at the charming pirate, he was a great friend, but if only I had known who I had agreed to sit with.
