Chapter 8: The Dream and the Vision

After Kagome left Sesshomaru alone outside on the tree roof, she decided to lay on the bed and get herself rest. She hoped she doesn't have a nightmare. But Sesshomaru was there to protect her from Inuyasha. She couldn't stop but remember how she kissed Sesshomaru on the cheek.

Kagome sighed tiredly. Come on, Kagome, she scolded herself in her thoughts. Stop thinking about him! It's been three months since I kept on thinking of Sesshomaru. But it's never going to happen.

She sighed at this, resting upon the pillow with the back of her head. Kagome closed her eyes slowly and began to dream...

Kagome's dream

She slowly opened her eyes. Kagome wore something. She wore her brown coat, dark blue jeans, and black boots with long white socks. She has a red scarf around her neck. She looked at the flowing snowflake and looked above. She knew it was snowing outside. Kagome didn't understand why it was snowing outside. She didn't feel cold. Although, she knew it was just a dream. Kagome realized she was in the town. Was she home? Was she back in Tokyo? Her era?

"Kagome," she heard a smooth voice call out her name. She spun around and saw it was Sesshomaru.

"Sesshomaru? Why are you here and where are you waiting for me?" Kagome asked her in shock.

Sesshomaru took a step forward toward her and gave her a soft smile. "I needed to see you again."

Again? What do you mean again? And how did he get out of the sacred well? Kagome wondered in thought, staring at his beautiful golden eyes. She walked towards him closely and gazed into his face. "You... needed to see me?"

"Of course I did," Sesshomaru said kindly.

Kagome began to smile as she felt her eyes stocks filling up with wet tears. "Sesshomaru... I think... I think I'm in love with you..."

Sesshomaru widened his eyes in shock. Kagome knew she said something wrong. She felt being grabbed by the wrist by Sesshomaru then pulled into an embrace. Kagome was in shock by his actions.

"What took you so long to figure that out?" Sesshomaru asked quietly as he wrapped his arms around her tightly. When he stopped embracing her, he looked into her beautiful honey-brown eyes and leaned into her face. "I knew I loved you before I even saved your life."

Kagome felt his lips pressed against hers softly. She closed her eyes slowly and began to feel relaxed with passion.

Kagome saw Sesshomaru standing outside in the field. She knew she was sent back to the feudal era. She noticed they were at Kaede's village. Did they return to the village? Did her friends miss her? Except for Inuyasha and even Kikyo?

She began to call out his name, "Sesshomaru!"

She knew Sesshomaru can hear her voice. She ran towards her then took him by the hand. Kagome stood beside him and looked into his face. They felt the breeze blow their clothing and their hair. He wrapped his fingers around hers. They both smiled at each other.

During the night, Kagome took her Miko dress slowly and then drop it on the floor. She smiled at Sesshomaru softly. She felt a bit nervous about 'doing this. She blushed heavily, covering her breasts with her arms. She looked down and felt way too nervous.

"Are you sure you want to do this? Is this what you want? I could hurt you," Sesshomaru said as he undresses with his kimono and armor.

Kagome smiled at him. "I'm sure, but I can handle the pain."

She walked towards him. Kagome pressed her lips against his, closing her eyes. Sesshomaru felt relaxed but close his eyes softly.

Five hours later, Kagome lay beside Sesshomaru as she lay on his strong chest. She couldn't believe this is happening to her. Kagome had been taken her virginity by Sesshomaru. She couldn't but smile. She always felt relaxed when Sesshomaru was always here for her.

"Kagome?" Sesshomaru approached her as Kagome found herself picking the herbs with Rin and Kaede. She wore her same red-and-white Miko. Kagome didn't wear her ponytail as Kikyo does. Just a beautiful long black-blue silky hair.

She turned her head at him. "Oh, hi, Sesshomaru," she greeted him kindly.

"Kagome, may I speak to you for a moment?" Sesshomaru asked her.

"Sure," Kagome said. She went to follow him in the field as she wanted to make sure he doesn't do something bad to her. When they both stopped, they began to have their conversation. Kagome knew he wanted to speak. "So, Sesshomaru, what is it you want to speak about?"

"Kagome, I want to ask you something. Something very important," Sesshomaru said nervously.

She took a step close and looked into his eyes. "What is it?"

"Kagome... will you be my mate?"

Kagome gasped in surprise. She couldn't help but smile excitedly. Although, she thought he hated humans and didn't protect them. But turned out, he was in love with her and decided to protect her from Inuyasha.

She nodded her head. "Yes... Of course, I will."

Sesshomaru was happy to hear her saying it. He pressed his lips against hers as they hold on to each other with hands. Kagome was so glad she became his human mate.

Kagome screamed in pain. She lay on the bed, feeling anxious. She found herself laying on the bed in pain and giving birth to Sesshomaru's child. She knew it's gonna be a half-demon like Inuyasha. When she kept screaming, she pushed into her body to feel her openings ripping out. Kagome moved her hand and grabbed someone's hand. She looked up and knew it was Sesshomaru who was there for her.

"Sesshomaru..." she cried out in pain.

"It's okay, Kagome. I'm here for you," Sesshomaru answered, holding her left hand tightly.

Kagome began to scream more when she can feel her core was badly ripping her apart in pain. When she stopped screaming, she felt the pain fading away slowly as she and Sesshomaru can hear the infant crying. Kagome rolled her head and stared at the baby with black hair and dog ears.

"Congratulations, Kagome, it's a beautiful baby girl," Kaede cheered as she cleaned off her blood from the baby.

Kagome felt happy when she and Sesshomaru had a daughter and finally had a family together. She watched wrapped the warm clean blanket around the baby and then pass it to her. Kagome looked at the baby girl who finally stopped crying. She couldn't help but smile at her daughter. She wrapped her arms around her.

"She's beautiful. She doesn't look much like you, Sesshomaru," Kagome said as she kept staring at her.

Sesshomaru chuckled softly as he smiled. "What should we name her?"

"Her name is going to be Ayane," Kagome said as she named her daughter 'Ayane'. Her name was the meaning of color sound.

"Ayane is a perfect name," Sesshomaru said.

Kagome giggled happily. "Ayane will. When she's older, her hair will grow beautiful like mine and she'll have your eyes."

He kissed her on the forehead and smiled at her. "I love you, Kagome."

Kagome smiled back. "I love you, too, Sesshomaru."

Kagome's dream ends

She gasped as she opened up her eyes. Kagome didn't believe it. She had a dream of Sesshomaru who fell in love with her and ended up having a family. She barely remembers she had a daughter and named her Naoki. She thought having a baby girl and name Naoki sounded like she wanted it.

What was that for? Was that all just a dream? Kagome thought as she got off the bed and saw the sun rising. It was very bright outside. I don't understand...! What is happening to me!? I mean, I still can't stop thinking about Sesshomaru! Was it a vision or was it a dream?
