As Papa Loves Mambo played from the radio, Biff drove to the dance. Marty and Rosie sat up, and pulled out the walkie talkie quietly.

"Doc, Doc come in," Rosie whispered. "Come in Doc."

"Marty, Rosie, come in," Doc said, stopping his bike from rolling.

"Doc," Marty said, but it turned to static. They tucked the antenna back into the walkie talkie and ducked as they drove under a tunnel.

"Kids," Doc said, trying to hear them, but he only heard silence. "Oh my... Great Scott." He recognized where he was, and ducked. There, he saw the DeLorean.

The catchy music continued to play through the radio as Marty and Rosie attempted to talk to their friend. Finally, he answered.

"Marty, Rosie, what happened to you?" He asked. "I went to Biff's house and you weren't there."

"You must have just missed us. We're in the back of Biff's car," Rosie said.

"He's on his way to the Enchantment Under the Sea dance," Marty said.

"Kids, listen, we may have to abort this entire plan. It's getting much to dangerous," Doc said, holding he walkie talkie and walking away from his bike.

"Don't worry. The book is on Biff's dashboard," Marty said. "I'll grab it as soon as we get to the school."

"Isn't that risky," Rosie whispered, raising her eyebrows. He only shrugged.

"Kids, you must be extremely careful not to run into your other selves," Doc said.

   "Our other selves?" Marty asked.

"Yes!" Doc exclaimed as the other Doc worked behind him. "Remember, your mother is at that exact same dance with you. Yeah."

"Right. This could get heavy Doc," Marty replied, and Rosie rolled her eyes as she shook her head. Could?

"Heavy heavy," Doc whispered to himself. "Marty, whatever happens, you must not let your other self see you! The consequences could be disastrous." Suddenly, the Doc behind him called out to him.

"Excuse me, sir. Yes you with the hat."

   "Who me?"

"Be a pal and hand me a five-eights inch wrench out of that toolbox," he said, and Doc turned his head slightly to see the past Rosie working on something. She couldn't see him either. He completed the task, nervously and talking to himself. Literally.

"It's gonna be one hell of a storm."

"Well, thanks. Nice talking to you. Maybe we'll bump into each other some time again in the future."

   "Or in the past."

Marty and Rosie sat up in the back of the car quickly as they came to a stop. The door slammed shut and they ducked, noticing Biff grab onto the almanac. He walked in and Marty hopped out of the car, turning around and grabbing Rosie by her hips and pulling her out. They walked through the same door and heard the jazz music Rosie had heard previously, seeing herself dancing with George. They tried to contact Doc, but to no avail. Marty took his binoculars out and noticed George and Rosie.

"You're a pretty good dancer," he teased, watching her nearly twist her ankle. She lightly punched his arm. They walked in between the couples dancing, and Rosie saw Robby and Nancy, making her smile.

'They're alive,' she thought. They looked over, and saw someone spiking the punch. They looked behind it, and saw the almanac in Biff's back pocket.

"There it is," Rosie said. The two followed it, and saw none other then Mr. Strickland.

"Thought we got rid of this guy," Marty whispered. They saw him take Biff out of the building, and ran towards them.

"Where's that punk Calvin Klein?" Biff said as they ran down the stairs. They saw him arguing with his friends, right before they would throw him into the back of a car. They turned around and pretended to be busy as they passed by. Slowly and quietly, they tried to walk closer to him. Marty rose the binoculars towards his eyes, and saw himself driving Lorraine, making him cringe. He tapped Rosie's arm and pointed towards the car. She followed his hand and nodded, understanding the motion. They looked towards Biff, and tried to hop over the railing quietly. Walking towards where Biff was, Rosie stood on her toes and tried to grab the almanac. Suddenly, they heard Mr. Strickland, and she pulled her arm away quickly.

"How nice to see you here," he told Biff.

"Why, Mr Strickland it's nice to see you here," Biff said, setting the book he was reading behind his back.

"Is that liquor I smell, Tannen?" The man asked.

"Uh, I... I wouldn't know," Biff said, acting dumb. "I don't know what liquor smells like, 'cause I'm too young to drink it."

"I see. And what have we here?" He asked, and Rosie noticed him take the almanac out of his pocket. "Sports statistics, interesting subject. Homework, Tannen?"

"Not it ain't homework, 'cause I ain't at home," he said, laughing. Suddenly, Strickland shoved him.

"You've got a real attitude problem. You know that, Tannen? Just watch it," he said. "Because one day I'll have you right where I want you, in detention. Slacker!" With that, he walked off and Marty and Rosie crawled out of their hiding spot, chasing the teacher. They ducked as they heard Marty and Lorraine talking. The teenagers moved past the car skillfully, and ran into the school.

"Here," Rosie said, turning on a light switch. They looked into a window, and saw Strickland pouring himself a drink in the office Marty had sat in many times. He then slammed the book on the desk. They opened the door quietly and crawled in, trying to grab the book. They ducked when Strickland looked towards their direction, and stood up. They crawled under his desk, and scooted far enough so he wouldn't feel them. He looked out the window and Rosie tried to grab the book. The man then rolled the chair back, causing her hand to be crushed. Her eyes widened and she suppressed a scream. She got her hand free, and clutched it with her other. Marty gestured quiet, and took her hand in his, kissing it. Strickland grabbed the book, and walked away, tossing it. The two got up and walked to the trash, before Marty grabbed it.

"Yes," he said, before flipping through the pages. "No."

"Oh la la?" Rosie said, reading. The cover. "Shit."

"Doc! Doc!" Marty exclaimed into the walkie talkie. "Doc damnit come on!"

"What's up?" Doc asked, joining the conversation.

"Doc we're in trouble!" Rosie said. "We blew it."

   "Where's the book?"

"Biff must still have it with him," Marty said, mentally kicking himself. "All we got is the damn cover."

   "And where's Biff?" Doc asked.

"I don't know," Marty yelled back, frustrated.

"Do you have any idea where he is?"

"He could be anywhere," Rosie said, before looking out the window.

"The entire future depends on you finding Biff and getting that book back!"

"Marty," Rosie said, trying to get him to look out the window. He looked at her, and looked at where she was pointing.

"Of course!" Marty yelled, before turning and kissing Rosie. "I gotta go. I got one chance! My old man is about to deck Biff!"
