I woke up to the sound of silent whimpers. I yawned and opened my bedroom's door and saw that Natsuo had once again turned to a wolf and was crying in his sleep. "Natsuo? Shhh it's ok, it's ok." I tried to reassure him and calmly wake him up by petting his fur. He opened his eyes, turning back to a human immediately and I was thankful for the blanket covering him. "Don't touch me!" he said and pushed me away. I tried to ask if something was wrong but he spoke before I could. "Everything is fine, go back to sleep." I decided to do as told and walked back towards my bedroom.

We had been living together for about a month now and honestly I had grown used to the white haired male's company. I could even say that I had caught feelings for him, and how could I not? He was funny, sweet, delightful and... I can honestly not stretch this enough, HOT. I was currently making lunch and Natsuo was in the shower. A few nights ago he had told me about his family and how his father had destroyed it and as a result, drove him away. He also told me that all of his nightmares are about his brothers being tortured by him and that he doesn't like talking about it.

I was setting the table and Natsuo came over to help me. I bent over the table and he took notice of my clothes. Now I might have put a slight effort in my appearance today since I wanted Natsuo to notice me and apparently it was working. He leaned over me and breathed in my scent, I felt shivers go down my spine and shattered. "Natsuo? What are you doing?" the male stiffened after hearing my words and pulled away red faced. "I-I'm sorry (y/n) I wasn't thinking clearly." I blushed and continued serving the food pretending nothing happened. As we sat down to eat I looked at him intensely. "Can I ask you something?" He looked up from his plate, "Yeah shoot." I swallowed and debated whether or not I should. "Do you.... Do you go in heat?" I said my voice lowering as I spoke. He choked on his water and became red in the face. I covered my face with my hands embarrassed as he calmed down.

"Wh-Ho-Whe... Ok!" he tried to speak but stumbled over his words making me smile underneath the cover of my palms."Yes. Yes I do go in a rut not heat and It is very weird and annoying but I can't do anything about it. This isn't some fan fiction where rut suppressants exist (author chan is not sorry Natsu babe) to make my life easier and I was going to talk to you about it but tried to delay it for as long as I could." He said in a mixture of embarrassment, anger and annoyance. "What is the difference between rut and heat?" I suddenly asked, becoming more interested in the subject at hand. "Well it's basically the same thing but it's called a rut for alphas and it makes us become aggressive, possessing and dominating." I thought for a second. "So you're an alpha then." he nodded. "And when is that rut thingy gonna happen to you?" I spoke while playing with the food on my plate.

"Today." he said, scratching the back of his neck. I dropped my fork on the floor. "Wait what? And you're just telling this to me now?" he looked at me with guilt. "Usually I disappear and sometimes get hurt trying to calm down. That's what had happened when you found me actually. And as much as I hate this I can't stay with you and put you in danger." I looked at him shocked. "No, no! You don't have to leave, we'll find a way somehow. What if I stay in my room all day and only get out to shower? Or or we could get you a hotel room and you'll come back when the rut thingy is over! Just don't leave." I said not wanting to lose him.

"I don't want to leave either but I don't have much of a choice. Every time I look at you I just want to rip those clothes off of you and the dreams I keep having are not helping either!" 'wait a second was this a confession? Nah It's probably his hormones talking.' I thought looking at him. "And it's not because of the situation I wanna do that al the fucking time and it's driving me crazy!" he stopped realizing what he was saying. We locked eyes for a second and I blushed understanding what had just happened. "I-i should probably clean the table." I stood up red faced and tried walking away when I felt a pair of strong arms holding me back. Natsuo pushed me against the wall and leaned down to my level. "I like you (y/n). Now tell me... do you like me?" he spoke against my ear making butterflies erupt in my stomach. Instead of answering him I stood on my tippitoes and placed and placed a gentle kiss against his lips.

He pulled away. "Nuh-uh!" he picked me up from my thighs and pushed me once again against the wall. Not wasting any time he smashed his lips against mine in a kiss that was both sweet and gentle but somehow very heated at the same time. He bit my lip asking for entrance which I granted and he immediately pushed his tongue in my mouth making me moan slightly. After a while he moved away and started leaving a trail of kisses from my mouth to my neck leaving a few love bites along the way.
