"Well, we're here! Or at least, at the town itself!"
It wasn't a big town like where we used to live, but it was alright.
Buildings and shops filled every part of it. People were casually smiling and waving whenever they would walk past each other. The weather seemed gloomy, but their spirits weren't. You could tell by how wide their smiles were! While we were still driving to our new house, we passed by groups of teens who seem to be the same age as mine. They were all pretty much doing the same usual stuff: hanging out, talking to each other, playing games on their phone. Some even rode bikes together. I never really cared much and decided to lay back again, not until I saw a particular girl who caught my eyes.
She had this brownish hair that went up to her shoulders. She wore glasses and had a face mask on which made it hard for me to see what she actually looked like. She had black long sleeves on with matching denim pants and white sneakers, complimenting her bright white skin.
She was wearing those typical white earphones while walking towards what seems to be a store.
My head automatically follows her. Unfortunately, we passed by the building that she entered in. I tried to peak at the car window but it was no use, she already went inside the store.
"Saw something that caught your attention, huh?"
I was startled by the voice of my mum who had a grin on her face while talking.
"Tell me, is it a girl, right? I'm pretty sure it's a girl!"
At this point, she was just teasing me. Although I gotta admit, she wasn't wrong, though.
"What? N-no, mom! It wasn't!"
"Tsk, I already know, ok? No need to lie. Guys always have a sweet spot for beautiful girls, am I right?" Her voice was as confident as ever while speaking.
"I told you mom, it wasn't! I just- I saw something interesting."
"Hmm, sure you do."
We ended up laughing it off and shrugging it off our heads. But for some reason, I just couldn't forget her. Something about her made me feel a bit anxious. Whatever it is, it'll probably just go away soon.
For now, I'll enjoy this ride and listen to my saved playlist.
An hour later, we arrive at this white-ish house. It wasn't that big, but it wasn't small.
