Chapter 7: Reason

A sleek black limousine stopped in front of the gigantic gates of Xien University. As the men dressed in black got out of the limousine one would think that maybe the Prime Minister of Japan has arrived. Instead, two adorable three year old kids with elf ears emerged as their bodyguards hold the door for them.

"Wow! It's huge Nii! Look the chandeliers are pretty!" Mari exclaimed as they entered the lobby.

"Hn." Yuu halted and threw a glance at the bodyguards trailing behind them. They're quite a sight, and people are staring. He doesn't like it.

"Leave."

"But Yuu-sama--"

"I said leave. Mom and Daddy L is here. No need to follow us around." he said icily.

The bodyguards did as they told and scampered to leave. The last time one bodyguard did not followed his orders the marriage of the man was destroyed as Yuu 'kindly' provided to the bodyguard's wife that he was cheating on her. They knew better than to oppose him especially of they've got something to hide.

"Mari." As if sensing what Yuu wanted, Mari immediately ran up to him to hold his hand and they made their way inside. They walked half the lobby when Yuu felt a tug on his hand and looked at Mari.

"Nii I need to pee.." there was an urgency in Mari's voice and Yuu knows better. He immediately looked for a comfort room and before Mari entered he told her. "Wait for me to come back here, I will ask in the lobby the location of the Amefuto Clubhouse. Don't go wandering around."

"Hai!" Mari answered as she closed the door and Yuu took his leave.

Maki grumbled as she held two plastic bags in each hand from the grocery store. When she said that she will be the assistant manager she did not mean that she would run errands like shopping snacks for the team!

'That bitch! She probably planned this to get Youichi's attention all by herself' she thought as she remembers that the two had been together a lot recently because they are discussing plays. They have entered in semi-finals. Mostly with Azrael around, of course. But the thought of the two interacting made Maki's blood boil. She had worked so hard to gain Youichi. She can't just let her have him stole away from her.

And Mamori being beautiful did not help at all. Back in Deimon she was the godess, now she looked like a wallflower when in the same picture as her. And Hiruma never looks at her the way he looks at that girl in the whole 4 years they had been together. He doesn't even kiss her, it was always her who initiates.

Maki clicked her tongue, what important is. He was hers and he had made it official. Every single soul in Tokyo knew that she is the Devil's girlfriend, that whats that matters. Youichi will eventually love her. She had just to wait.

She stopped dead on her tracks as she saw her reflection in the glass windows of the lobby. She looks so haggard! She had to retouch to look pretty before reaching the clubhouse. She immediately looked for a comfort room but it was occupied. While waiting she opened up a soda can and started drinking its content.

When the door of the comfort room opened Maki was standing a little to close to it and the door had hit her soda can causing it to be spilled in her uniform. "What the hell?!"

Mari looked up at the girl who had cursed out loud. She stared with her wide doe eyes and immediately concluded that she had accidentally spilled her drink in her uniform when she opened the door.
