I think I should tell you how my friends and I met.
You Know I said we met when were in grade 6 hun. So on this fateful day we were all admitted into Brainfield Academy from different homes and we were much though. I knew nobody in the whole class and as at that time I was still a day student, I meant I wasn't a boarder then. And I didn't attend primary school there so making friends was a bit tough for me then.
One day came not quite long after we resume I was in the class during our lunch time eating my lunch all alone and a girl walked up to me and said" hey there" and I replied her "hello". So she introduced herself to me as Aduragbemi and Adura for short. Though I was not really good at exchanging words with someone I meet for the first time buh her case was different. I went along with her as in we were really flowing together. We talked and strolled out of class till the break was over after we had our lunch. So since then I and Aduragbemi became close friends up till now.
In class, Precious and Esther are very good friends then. They knew each other before so they have been friends since they were in primary school so everyone knew them as friends so do they know Adura and I as friends. So on a fateful day we were to do a group work so they paired me together with Precious and Esther with two other students buh Adura wasn't in the same group with us. So naturally if you are in a group with someone you'd have no choice buh to interact with each other so we talked normally and did the work together buh then I do feel myself cos teachers do tell me I'm brilliant so I didn't really do the same thing they did buh I didn't know it was pride. So after we closed and we were all heading to the school bus when Esther and Precious stopped us on the way. We exchanged greetings and Esther was like today you acted proudly and I was like what the heck do you mean, so she explained what she meant by I acted proudly today and I still was confused buh Adura told me that its pride too so I had no choice but to apologize to them and they said " no, you don't need to apologize, we aren't offended by what you did, we just thought of telling you so you'd know what you did was wrong and you'll try to adjust so no problem, all is well", and I was like wow this people would make good friends. Anyways, we later went to the school bus together and we talked.
The following morning at school after the assembly period and the teacher was yet to enter our class, they both came, I mean Esther and Precious, greeted us and we greeted them back too. So precious now "said can we all be friends? ", I was still looking at them when Adura replied and said " wow that'd be great, no problem, we all can be friends " so I had no option too than to say yes.
So since then we all became the best cliques and even till now.
I do tell my mom everyday then about whatever goes on in school so she knew about them and she was happy cos I was able to make friends.
Oh yeah about the pride issue, I said in the last part that my parents are the richest and I'm the most brilliant 😬 please I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude or proud. Hope my apology is accepted?? 😣, don't mind me, ok??
