The next couple of days, I protested just about every day, but Tank just kept running through my head. I walked through the crowd of my current protest, all defying features of my body hidden behind a loose hoodie, a mask and goggles. I had passed my sign to someone else a while ago and my voice was turning hoarse from all the shouting before I saw it. Him.

Well not really, I think this one was Riot, he was shorter and has dreadlocks hanging over his shoulder. He was talking to a lady with a camera. As I walked closer I overheard him speak, and really respectfully at that. Throughout the protest I watched him from the crowd, protecting the protestor and warning them of tear gas and rubber bullets.

Once again tear gas fell from the sky, but it exploded before it could be thrown back. I coughed and screamed as my whole body burned. I felt rough hand shove me to the ground once again as cold metal snapped around my wrists behind my back. I was jerked up roughly and pushed towards what seemed like the officers. I fell again as someone tackled the cop, protestor surrounding me and pouring milk on my eyes as someone picked the handcuffs. As soon as my wrists were free I covered my face.

Rough gloves pulled them away as water poured over me. I wiped my eyes after s a couple of with my shoulder then turned tp look at whoever still held my hands captive. A black mask stared back at me. Riot.

He pulled me up and dragged me over to the side walk by my left hand, my right dangling uselessly behind me.

"Are you okay? Do you have a way to get home tonight ma'am?" His soothing voice washed over me before his words registered to me.

I can't go home tonight! The cops are blocking the way! How am I supposed to get home?

Tears burned my eyes as I started panicking, shaking my head no jerkily. I felt arms wrap around me and pulled me into a warm body as my body shook with my sobs. A hand stroked my back softly as I cried.

"You can come to my place if you want? I stay with a couple of others and we won't be able to show you our identities for obvious reasons, but it's somewhere safe for tonight."

I looked up and nodded quickly before snuggling back into his arms, with a small smile. This is nice, and he's being super respectful. I'll just make sure to send my location to someone just in case.

He let me go before taking my hand and tugged me through a bunch of alleys and crowds before we came across a jeep. We quickly climbed in and Riot started driving, I pulled my phone out and explained what was happening to my best friend, who was also at the protest but left early. She agreed and I sent her my location as we stopped before a house. Riot got out and jogged over to the other side before opening the door for me. I followed him to the door, which he unlocked, and we walked in. He gestured to a door down the hall before talking.

"You'll stay in that room. It has an ensuite bathroom where you can take a cold shower. Leave your clothes on the bedroom floor and I'll wash it. Ill find you clothes for you to sleep in. Do you mind if it's mine?"

"I don't mind, and thank you for everything." I gave him a smile before starting down to the door.

"Wait!"

I turned and watched as he rubbed his neck.

"I'll leave food on the desk if you want, are you allergic to anything?"

I laughed and shook my head before finally walking into the room closing the door behind me. After a long shower, I walked back into the room with a towel tucked around me, spotting a shirt and boxers on the bed. Changing quickly, I wandered around the room. It obviously belonged to someone, with a half full bag of laundry in the corner and shelves of books and figures stacked on the walls of the grey-blue themed room.

A choking sound startled me as I whipped around to see the tall guy, Tank in the doorway, staring at my chest. I looked down and quickly crossed my arms remembering I have no bra on. He coughed and looked away.

"What are you doing in my room? Who are you? Why are you wearing my clothes?"

The clothes part made sense, as the shirt and boxers were way too big. This was his room though?

"Oh sorry! Riot let me in and gave me the clothes, he said that I would be sleeping here tonight."

He looked up quickly, the mask catching the light.

"Oh! Okay I guess, I'll sleep in his room tonight. It explains why he told me to bring this."

I looked down to the plate of food in his hand, before smiling and taking it from him and putting it on the desk. Tank turned in the doorway, about to leave before he stopped and look back at me.

" I don't mind you in my clothes though, it's hot. I can even see your nipples"

He looked as smug as someone in a riot suit could, before laughing and leaving, closing the door behind him. I gasped looking down at the semi-see through shirt and blush covered my cheeks as I saw that he was, in fact, right.

After dinner I climbed into bed, turning off the lights and sunk into the soft mattress. Just as I was about to fall asleep I remembered what Tank said and blushed, waking me up again. Only after an hour of tossing and turning did I fall asleep
