05. | for now

a/n: sorry for not updating for a week. my phone's screen got broken and it needed to be fixed. but it's fixed now guys! sorry for making you all wait. for now on i will only update in every two days. i hope you understand since i'm on online business too hehe!

"stay right here, i'll call a doctor."

he coughed and nodded as he removed the hoodie.

i quickly went to open the aircon.

after that, i called a doctor for him.

i saw him laying on my bed, eyes closed.

i sat beside him and shook his shoulder lightly.

"don't sleep yet, you need to drink your medicine." i reminded him and he just nodded.

"it's so hot in here." he muttered huskly. i frowned since it's actually cold right now.

maybe because of his temperature. he needed to take his shirt off but how can i say that?! he'll think of me as a pervert! whatever!

"take off your shirt..." i said quietly and he followed.

phew, i'm glad he didn't say anything.

he took off his shirt and took my comforter around his body.

"stare all you want." he chuckled.

this bastard.

i rolled my eyes at him and look away.

after a few minutes, the doctor came and checked his temperature.

bright has a high fever and he needs to stay inside the house since he needed some rest.

"i'll come back if his temperature got very high. for now, he just need some rest. are you his guardian? please take care of him in a moment."

the hell.

now i'm going to be stuck with him here for a week.

but then i was the one who helped him.

i looked over at bright and saw him bit the inside of his cheek.

i gritted my teeth and sighed.

i nodded and thanked her politely.

"drink this." i took the medicine that the doctor gave me earlier. he sat up straight on bed as i gave him his medicine.

"what about work?" i asked him.

he took the medicine and looked at me.

"i'll just...tell my manager i'm on my vacation."

"what if he didn't buy it?"

"he will." he muttered and went back to lay down on the bed.

"would you...tell me why you don't want them to know you're sick?"

he sighed heavily.

"for now, i don't wanna say anything." that's the last thing he said before going back to sleep.
