**the morning of your first day**
You stood in front of the mirror eyeing your new school uniform. It wasn't something you would normally wear but it was good enough.
You were living alone in an apartment the school had granted you since you had no relatives to stay with. You had your grandparents but they lived overseas.
It was a small room, but it was cosy and had a feeling of home.
"First day Mom and Dad, I hope your watching...please be proud. I'm doing this for you..."
Skirt patted down, and tie done up neatly, you made your way outside as the fresh breeze lightly hit your skin, sending your (h/l) (h/c)hair back behind your ear.
What a beautiful morning. You smiled to yourself.

The road I was travelling down was narrow. Walls nearly sky high. My eyes lifted up from the ground noticing a small white kitten.
She looked battered and bruised so I picked her up and held her.
I couldn't just leave it here like this, so I ran all away back to my apartment and put her in a box that would of kept her from being frightened.
She snuffled her head in the blanket and curled into a ball.
"I'll be back later Mitten." I smiled. The kitten seemed to pure as if to say she liked the name.
I slowly stood back up, eyes still focused on the cute creature before me. But I started to panic as I noticed the time was 7:50.
I had to be at homeroom for 8, and being late on my first day really wasn't something I wished to face! Not a good first impression.
Luckily for me the school had placed me only 8 minutes away, that's if I ran.

You didn't realise how fast you could actually move your legs until now. You halted outside the school and started to make your way in slowly, the time being 7:58. 2 minutes.
You continued walking into the school until you heard a voice call out your name.
"L/n! H-hey! W-wait up!"
You turned around and saw that it was Izuku. He looked sweaty and bothered.
Guess he passed the test after all.
"I saw you running and thought I should try and catch up. But your so fast! Guess you must've been in a hurry as well." He smiled, now walking by your side.
"Hm. Not good. Especially for the fist day. I can't let my parents down that easily." You only just realised you said that out loud as Izuku looked at you with an expression of confusion. "But we're here now so it doesn't matter. We can't all be perfect."
"Yeah well..Anyway, y/n, I just wanted to say that, I'm sorry if I keep getting in your way. I just thought you seemed nice and wanted to make friends so I wouldn't have to be alone. But I also wanted to say thank you!" He added hastily after you gave him a side glance.
