HAGEMARU's POV
کچھ عجب کھیل کرتار کے مورے سائیں غریب نواج کے

"some wondrously strange games the doer plays
that my master, the cherisher of the poor, plays
in one person's hand he's set a begging bowl
and on another's head, he's setting a crown"With clothes, ragged, sweat descending down my face, and a handful of hope, i walked through the hallway of my new school. A plethora of bourgeoisie adolescents were seen disembarking from their respective classes, each dressed head to toe in designer brands and carrying with them, their phones that were obnoxiously priced with such exorbitant rates one could only dream of carrying them around. I was ascertained i would stand out as the elephant in the room for i was a simple one, no riches, no golden spoons, instead, i was born in an extremely perplexing environment, as some might perceive it. We lived without phones, we slept late, we woke up early and we had a jar full of dreams that was kept shut for only the rich can dream.
Walking past the halls that were crowded yet empty felt oh so prolonged. The rich kids, their counterfeited smiles as they went on to brag about their status. The teachers, looking at me disapprovingly knowing i was just a shout into the void and that there was nothing they could gain out of me for i wasn't anything "special". The atmosphere pauperized my mental state, it was imminent that i was about to start tearing up.
Those dreams, the sweat and tears my parents put in to have me go to this school with their hard-earned cash, the 5RS coin i had as "lunch money" that made my mom worry a little less about the expenses.
My vision blurred and as expected, i rushed to the bathroom so nobody could hear my screams, nobody could see the tears that softly penetrate down my cheeks....
THUMP
"OUCH!!", i exclaimed.
"i'm sorry!!!!!!", said she
and that was how i met the light of my life, the one who brought ease to my heart, guided me through the dark.
