I wake up from my nap to harsh whispers. I look around the room and see Ryan walking back and forth in front of the bed on his phone talking to someone. Once he sees me he hangs up and comes to the bed.
" hey baby how'd you sleep" he asks
I nod my head and say " I slept good but what's wrong" he looks me in the eye and I see that something is wrong. " I have some business to take care of so I'll try to be back as soon as I can." I shake my head no and hold his hand. " do you have to leave I don't want you to go?"
"Yes I have to go I'm sorry baby but I should be back soon I shouldn't be gone long" he answers. I nod my head and he kisses my head and leaves out the bedroom door.
Ryan's P.O.V
I was on the phone with one of my men they said that they found a note with a threat in it against Ayla it said that they were going to come for her and when they get their hands on her they will do unimaginable things to her and my best guess was that it was one of my rival gangs that did this. I look up and see Ayla and she's awake I hang up the phone and tell her I have to go. I have to go and figure out who did this. I leave and head to one of my warehouses where I meet up with some of my men before I'm gonna get to the bottom of this. All I know is that I'll do anything before anyone lays a hand on my Ayla.
