The Big Days

The days flew quickly. Mari and Adrien had to hire people to pack their old house up for them. Between work, weddings and visits with the press about the LadyBlog vlogs, they had no time to pack. Mari had been able to give directions on what rooms stuff went in. and furniture had been built and placed where they wanted. But they would have boxes to unpack when they got home.  Alya and Nino, however, had time to move in, and their home was now move-in ready.

The couples planned on spending their wedding weekend in the same hotel. The media did not know that. Adrien and Mari were champions at sneaking around. They slipped into the hotel unnoticed, thanks to a wig and or two. Alya and Nino were not as bothered by the press and they picked the hotel where Ayla's mom worked, so she slipped in through the employee entrance and joined her friends in their joined room. Nino snuck in without the press bothering him, he simply left his signature red cap at home. Once the four were in the same room, they broke open some bubbly and celebrated the night away.  Friday morning rolled around and the girls slipped away to the spa for a day of pampering. and as the wedding was an evening the couples met for photos in the afternoon. Rolls swapped and Mari and Adrien took over videoing the couple's first look.

"Alya.... you look. Wow." Nino was dumbfounded. "I get to spend the rest of my life with you?"

"Yes you do, lover boy." Ayla posed showing off her figure in her dress. It had a tasteful v neck and a low back and a classic high low design in an ivory colour. "You clean up nice, wanna run away together?"The couple laughed and kissed. Arien and Mari put down the video cameras and finally got a good look at each other.

"I didn't think a burnt orange would work with your hair and skin down, but damn, babe you look killer in that dress." Adrien teased.

"I think your just biased my love." Mari twirled in her equally tasteful open shoulder dress with an open back knee-length brunt orange dress.

"Don't argue with me today my love, it's your best friend's wedding." he winked as she rolled her eyes at him.

The bridal party had a blast taking pictures. They didn't have anyone else in the party mostly because they had too many friends, but it was an understood fact that this group of four was inseparable by their shared friend group, their high school friends got a special spot in the venue,  where they could see everything clearly.

The weddings were taking place at a farm just a few miles from Paris. There was a cute farmhouse for the bridal party and the Nino and Alyas families to wait for the music and start. With a lovely tent that was set up for both wedding and reception. The little farmhouse also had honeymoon suite for couples who didn't want to rush away for the night. So Alya and Nino planned using that while Adrien and Mari went back to the hotel.

The ceremony had been lovely and as the supper wrapped up, Adrien and Mari stoop up to give their speech.

"Nino and Alya, when I was allowed to go to school, you welcomed me into your group that very first day, and I have been forever grateful. Adding me in whatever way you could, to your group hangouts. Working around my busy schedule, being there to listen and help me in whatever way you could." Adrien smiled raising his cup to his best friends.

"I'll never forget the day the Ayla told me she liked you, Nino, I was so happy, I never wanted to lose my best friends. As you grew as a couple, I grew more and more confident that you were soulmates. I remember the day that my best friends met, and I am glad that this little group grew into the foundational part of my life its is now. Thank you both."  Mari raised her glass everyone cheered. The four shared a smile. And for a moment it was like they were sucked back into a memory.
