You were walking down the packed streets of Minneapolis. Protesting. You could see brown signs everywhere you went. We were all fighting for a cause. You were carrying milk, and had goggles & a mask that made you look ridiculous, but it was for your own safety. You knew you could not afford to be tear gassed.
You could hear riots and arguements suddenly breaking out. You're green, emerald eyes scanned the streets and explored where the noise was coning from.
There was a line of specops men on one side of the strest and on the other were protesters, clustering together. "No peace, no justice." They were all chanting. Of course, you joined in the cluster of protesters. Shouting on the top of your lungs "NO PEACE NO JUSTICE".
As you were protesting, you could hear the hiss of something going off. You asked a protester with a rather bushy mustache, "Hey whats going on?"
He had replied,
"RUN AWAY ITS GAS. RUN AWAY. GET OUT."
With that warning, everyone stampeded. You're poor legs and asthma had kicked in. You started to doze. No one even cared you were on the ground. You tried to ask for help. But no one answered.
You felt warm arms pick you up.
"W-who is this?" you called out.
"Shhhhh. It's okay. You're safe now." The mysterious man said.
"Don't kidnap me or try anything funny mister." you said drowsily.
He chuckled lightly, "I won't."
You opened your eyes, wanting tk see who the man who saved you was.
It was one of the spec ops. And oh my- that uniform could take away my period for 9 months. It was all black, majestic and all. Gee whiz. Hot. Hot. Hot. He appeared to be really tall. Maybe like 7 foot or something??
"Thank you." You whispered as you look at him.
"No need to thank me. Its my job." You could tell by the way he was talking that he was smiling through his helmet.
With the man bridal style carrying you, you could feel that he was taking you somewhere.
The voices had eventually become faint.
And the only question left in your mind was,
Was this really all a dream?
