CHAPTER 547 DON'T ADMIT IT EVEN IF YOU BEAT TO DEATH
After deciding not to admit it even if he was beaten to death, Robert Michael felt a lot more relaxed. He picked up his tea cup and drank it all up, shrugged and said, "Edwin, I really don't understand what you're saying."
"I want to find your father, but I have no other thoughts. I just don't want anyone to use him to hurt Jane Ronan." Edwin Carter leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs elegantly. He tapped the table lightly with his fingertips out of habit.
To Edwin Carter, George Michael was someone that had nothing to do with him. Whether he lived or died had nothing to do with him.
He did not want George Michael to get hurt because he did not want to see Jane Ronan upset.
If anything happened to George Michael, or Jane Ronan found out ... Edwin Carter did not allow this to happen, as he had always prepared for a rainy day with regards to Jane Ronan.
"Edwin, our father has already been dead for more than twenty years. You should know that." Robert Michael understood what Edwin Carter meant. He was not a nosy person. He only paid attention to this person because he was related to Jane Ronan.
"If you don't want to say it, I won't make things difficult for you. If you need help, just call me anytime." After saying that, Edwin Carter stood up gracefully and left in big strides.
When they reached the door, Edwin Carter stopped and looked back, saying, "Do you still remember my phone number?"
Robert Michael couldn't help but nod his head and blankly watched Edwin Carter open the door and leave.
Looking at Edwin Carter's back, Robert Michael fell into deep thought.
He understood that it would be much easier for Edwin Carter to help his father get a new identity and find a top-notch plastic surgeon to perform surgery on his father.
However, George Michael was worried.
Edwin Carter's thoughts were too deep. He had never seen through Edwin Carter and never knew what Edwin Carter was thinking.
How he could trust his father to someone he had never seen through.
His father, who had died more than twenty years ago, was still alive. To him, this was an inconceivable matter.
It had surprised him, but also worried him.
Rubbing his forehead, Robert Michael let out a long sigh and shook his head, telling himself not to think too much. No matter what, he will help his father recover his looks and give him a new identity.
"..."
When Jane Ronan returned home, she saw that her servant was busy packing his things and carrying a few boxes out. It was unknown what he was doing.
Angela Carter and Janell were playing in the living room. The two of them had a great time together. Jane Ronan finally saw a smile on Janell's face that she hadn't seen for a long time.
"Little aunt, give me some money!"
Janell's soft, smiling voice reached Jane Ronan's ears. It sounded as if she was very happy at the moment.
Angela Carter said, "My little aunt hasn't been filming recently and doesn't have any money. When your dad comes back, I'll ask him to pay."
Janell shook her head. "I don't need the money!"
Angela Carter did not understand. "Your father has so much money, why didn't he pay?"
Janell sternly said, "Father will keep the money, so of course we'll grow up."
