The world has changed, it will never be what it once was.
Humans have become dependant on technology, it is their everything, their lives revolve around it, the world revolves around it. The only available form of communication is over the internet, we work over the internet, we go to school over the internet. And we find our soulmates over the internet.
At the age of 14 each and every person is assigned a texting buddy, the person they will spend the rest of their lives with. The only person they will ever really communicate with.
Of course, no one ever meets the person they're supposed to love, they'll never know what they truly look like, or what their voice sounds like.
Seeing people causes judgement, and judgement is bad.
This is the only way to fix that.
Or at least, that's what they tell us.
