she rolled her eyes and got up. they walked out of the cafe as minah bowed down again, " have a nice day" she spoke in her tiny voice.
she cleaned up the mess she made and was ready to face the manager who was already red from anger. when she finished, she went inside.
"are you crazy? huh? who pours coffee all over their customer?!" he shouts at me. minah didnt feel sorry at all and her resting bitch face shows it. he scoffs and glares at her, "you're lucky because we are running low with workers. i only have six people working here and this cafe is very always loaded with people."
"then why are we short with workers if this cafe is loaded with people. the customers only come here to see ten anyways." she thought to herself.
when the manager left, her friend quickly ran to her. he hit her shoulder, "are you crazy? huh? who-" "dont even try repeating it. the manager already said it." minah interrupted him.
he sighed while shaking his head, "ahh what to do with you.. seriously." she rolled her eyes, "but you have to agree with me, they deserved it. they were talking shit about me and were even siding on my cheating ex!"
he nodded, "okay you have a point." "oh yeah! have you told our regulars that you are gay?" he hit her arm and shushed her, "im bisexual not gay."
she mouthed a sure and he scoffed, "and no, i havent told them. if i did, then we would lose them." they continued cleaning the table and when they finished, we saw two girls enter the room.
"welcome to whiplash cafe! how may i help you?" minah asked with a smile. "one iced americano and.." she trailed off and the other one continued, "iced vanilla latte pleeeease!"
minah smiled but this time it was brighter. when she left, those two girls continued talking.. really loud.
"shE HAD IT COMING!"
"just because she is a bitch to you doesnt mean that you should be laughing at her when she looks terrible."
"yEs IT DOES. whoever poured coffee all over her deserves a reward."
minah gulped and tried to look normal but her face was really red. "shit" she mumbled to herself. she came back with their drinks and placed them down. she had a nervous smile plastered on her face while the two girls smiled.
"thank you! and by the way, do you know who spilled coffee all over some girl here? we saw her walk by and were curious because we knew her." asked the short hair girl.
"i-i did actually haha.." their eyes widened as the other girl stood up and shook her hand, "you are amazing! thank youuu"
the short haired girl hit her back, "di, sit down!" she obeyed her but was still staring at minah with stars in her eyes. "sorry for my friend. we never really liked that girl so we're happy that she finally got what she deserved."
the so-called dihu let out her hand, "im dihu! ur cool and im cool so i dont see why we cant be friends right?" minah was clearly startled but a warm smile was then shown on her face.
she shook her hand and the other girl spoke up, "im jihyo. since you're good with dihu and you pass the vibe check for me, lets be friends." this time they both did a fist bump.
ten was watching the whole thing with a smile. "proud of her." he whispered to himself.
time passed and the two girls decided to wait until minah's shift was over. ten already left and yukhei was still there since his shift started later than theirs.
"bye xuxi!!" minah replied and he waves at her. she locked arms with both of the girls as they leave the store. "since its almost 7pm, we'll walk you home." they got to know each other more when walking minah at her place.
"wait! before you head off, download this app. me and jihyo found it and you can find new friends there with similar interest! im planning on making a group chat and want you to be in it."
minah just nodded and let them download the app on her phone. "okay, catch you later!"
she waved goodbye and those two walked away. she heads in her apartment and picks up her cat. "did you miss me?" the cat meowed and smiled.
she opened her phone again and clicked on the app.
