You wanted your dreams to come true. And you got everything you wanted. Except for the 'true' part. You know it yourself. You're not in reality.

It's all a nice, big, realistic dream. You pinch yourself and it doesn't hurt. You're in a deep daze, and you know that you are. Everything around you is too good to be true.

It's all a dream. Except you can't wake up. You want to wake up. You like this, but you can't live in a dream forever. You try to wake up.

You don't hear the gentle cooing anymore. You are oddly content. Content with everything. But it's never been like that. This feels too foreign for you to enjoy it. You curse that voice.

That voice is what led to this. After doing everything, it's gone.

Your thoughts replay in your mind: "I'm never gonna go back".
You mentally kick yourself. "Well, why not? I've got nothing to lose."

Nothing to lose, huh. Look at where you are now...

...right in the middle of nowhere.

You suddenly missed the four walls, and the window that gave you exactly the right amount the world that you had to.

You realise the heavy, imaginary, chains that held you down were protecting you. They were holding you down from hurting yourself.

You were being protected from yourself.

The moment you realise that, as you close your eyes and open them again, you find yourself back in the dark, dirty, creepy woods. The sunshine and rainbows are gone.

Like you just turned on a switch, you heard that same, melodious voice again.

"Why wouldn't you let me in?"

That's it. That was your cue. You run away as fast as you can, on the same trail that led you here. You run and run. But the cooing follows you.

"Everything you've wanted..."

Your feet bleed. But strangely, you smile at that.

I'm going home.

You run as fast as you can, using all the stamina you can gather up. But the voice is hooked to your back. You're pulling it along with you.

"... gonna be the magic story you've been told."

By now, you can see the castle. Your home. Seeing that you're almost there, you pick up your pace and run faster.

But..

...as you run faster and faster, you notice that the castle isn't getting any closer. You frown. You legs are tired, they hurt. But you pull them along. It hurts like 5 bones cracking simultaneously. You occasionally trip over stick and stones and your own legs. But home doesn't get any closer.

"You'll be safe under my control.."

You can't take it anymore.

"SHUT UP! Just shut up!!", You yell to the creepers, trees and tiny animals.

You can still see the Castle.

I wanna go back.!!

Hot tears stream down your face. But that doesn't stop you from sprinting. You desperately reach out to home with your hand, as if you can pull it closer. But in vain.

"Just let me in."
